Suites at Old Town?

Does anyone have experience with this hotel? Can you hear the noise from all the action from Old Town? Looking for a cheap hotel for our next trip, but one that would be OK for 3 young kids

Are you talking about the Days Inn next to Old Town? Maybe it's a different place, but we stayed there many years ago. It was adequate for our family of 5 as far as space, but there was nothing in the kitchen to speak of. We are resourceful, so it worked for us. And, no, we didn't have any noise issues.

If this is the suite that I think it is, there have been some outrageously horrible reviews on threads here about it. I stayed there on a high school trip in 1988 and from what I hear, there has been no maintenance or upgrading since then! Plus some criminal activity. Do a little searching on these threads to see if you can find some specifics on the hotel you're talking about.

Dont' do it. We stayed there quite a few years back, and I can't imagine it has improved any. There were mice everywhere on the oldtown grounds.

We had people following us, people watching us unload things into our room.

Very eery place. We never went back.

AVOID SUITES AT OLD TOWN!!!!!! We stayed in 02 and it was fine.When we went back in 2006 it was HORRIBLE!! Every room we tried(27!!) to move to had roaches,smelled like human urine,tv didnt work right,the murphy beds had human fecies on them. The property is dark,people sleeping in the corridor,broke down cars in the parking lots. Im surprised that the health department hasn't shut it down. It should be condemed.I wish I would have taking pics.
They refused to give me my money back so I saved my sanity,health,and well being of me and my kids and went down the road to a Holiday Inn.
