I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me where I can get information about suites in the Disney hotels? I can't seem to find any information on the website or in the official brochure.
There are also family rooms at the Newport Bay Club which sleep 6. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much info. available on them, we're staying there soon and I'm going to try and find out some info from the hotel for another forum member if that's any help.

Upon recieving our confirmation I have been able to determine that the family rooms at Newport Bay are on the Admiral's club floor. I believe there are two beds and a pull out couch.
Click on Admiral's floor right above the picture of the bedroom.
We are a family 5 and this is the best price to stay on site all in one room. Compared to WDW it seems reasonable. To get two, standard connecting rooms would have been $50 more plus no perks on the Admiral's floor. We all wanted to be in the same room anyway.

If you can take a few photos of your room, that would be great!
I'm afraid that the Admiral Floor perks aren't very exciting - but the fact that it still cost you less than two regular rooms is the important part anyway!!

I was hoping that the private check in and breakfast in our room in the morning would be exciting. Is it not that great? There is supposedly a reception too. Since I'm not paying any extra I won't be dissapointed if these things don't turn out to be that great. Have you heard or experienced that these "perks" are not all they are cracked up to be? Anything you know would help.
I will for sure take pictures and post them when I get back. We won't be home until mid August so look for them around then.
Hi we booked the Admiral's floor for the following reasons:
1) Dedicated check in (apparently it can get pretty busy not surprising given the size of the hotel) this is supposed to be quicker.
2) Swimming pool towels - leaves more room in the cases for our woolies.
All the other perks have a charge anyway, breakfast delivered to the room, tea & coffee facilites etc. ( so not really perks as such )

Perhaps I was being a little harsh - I just didn't want you to get too excited about the Admiral's Floor!
The dedicated check-in may or may not be very useful. When we visited last November, the standard check-in wasn't at all busy, and though the AF check-in only had a couple of people waiting, there was only one receptionist there!! Added to that, somebody then queued jumped in front of me, I probably would have been better in the standard check-in at that time!!! But I'm sure there will be many other times, when the dedicated check-in comes into it's own.
The room service that is offered is very limited, plus there is a 10 euro delivery charge, which I feel is a little steep. I did use it for breakfast on our last morning, as we had to be off early - and it was wonderful then, even though I didn't order much. Whereas ordering breakfast for five of you will make it much more worthwhile. Especially if you order lots!!! It will be really fun having it all together in your room.
Forgot to say - I did ask if I could have a look at one of the family rooms, but they were apparently all occupied. Sorry.
I've done a little write up on the Admiral's floor though in the NPB hotel thread and it's definately worth the extra money for the breakfast alone.
