We have 5 kids: 2 teens and 3 under 10. Last time we went we stayed at the DLH and had 2 adjoining rooms. We really don't want to spend that much money again and are interested in suites that would fit us all! We were looking into HOJO but they only fit 5....are they really stingy about the extra 2?

We are also a family of Celiacs so we can't have gluten, lol. Any suggestions there?

Hojo will take six in a couple of suites, but it is the Fire Codes that limit the number of guests/room.

We stayed at Anaheim Plaza Hotel last Oct in one of their family suites (2 adjoining rooms with 2 doubles/queens in each room).

There were 8 of us (5 adults 3 kids). I just tried and it let me show the same number of people and showed a family suite as being available for that many people. It will only allow 4 children on the booking site though (you might have to add one of the kids as a 3rd adult, although they would charge extra each night, or just put the 4 kids and leave the last one off the reservation until you get there and then let them know that there is an additional child and the site wouldnt let you put more than 4...

Bottom line is they will allow 7 in a family suite and it was only 109 a night for the room too and sometimes the family suite is as low as 99 a night.

We are a family of 6 and stay at Desert Inn & Suites in their C2 suite. It sleeps 10 and is spacious with two full bathrooms. Free breakfast and parking. Can't get much closer to the parks either.

The Staybridge Suites will hold that, I think the La Quinta Inn, Residence Inn maingage (penthouse -- my preference), and Best Western Raffles (kids suite & family suite, which holds up to 8)

I went with HOJO and two rooms for our family of 8. It is firecodes that limit the number of people in a room. In the past we may have not counted our baby in our numbers, but we now have too many people anyway, so just try not to stay in hotels. There are a few places with suites and stuff, but HOJOs, two rooms with the entertainment rate was cheaper than most of the others.

This is where we always stay with our family of 8. :)

We love the Penthouse at RI Maingate, so I have to agree with Mary Jo. They will also do grocery shopping for you and put the stuff away in your room.

You consider booking 2 regular connecting rooms? That is what we are doing for our upcoming trip. We will have 5 adults and 2 kids. I talked to Vacation Planning today and our planner booked us connecting rooms near the elevator. It costs twice as much as one room but half the price of a 2 bedroom suite.
