For our last 2 trips, we were on the DDP. My now-11-year-old daughter, the epitome of "picky eater" ordered the pizza or the chicken nuggets off the children's menu, and was fine.

This trip, though, we're not on the DDP. And she's a Disney adult. Throw in new braces on her teeth , and it gets a little tricky .And I'm trying to figure out where we'll eat. I would still like to stick to more-or-less one table service meal a day.

Some we KNOW we want to return to:

- Yak and Yetti lunch in AK

- Le Cellier (though this time it will be lunch here too.)

- We've always loved the Coral Reef, but in looking at their menu, I'm not sure I see a whole lot she would eat.

- Chef Mickey's

- probably 1900 Park Fare, or Aukerhaus breakfast

- I think I want to try Whispering Canyon.

She loves mozzerella sticks, potato skins, mashed potatoes, pizza, chicken cutlets...

I guess I'm looking for suggestions I might not otherwise have thought of.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

What about Via Napoli, Sci Fi, Kona Cafe, 50's Prime Time, Mama Melroses, or the ESPN Club?

Those seem "picky-friendly", lol. Plus they've got good options for everyone else in your party.

NOT being on the DDP is probably the easiest way to dine with a picky child who is considered a Disney adult. At the a la carte restaurants she can still order from the child's menu.

However, be aware that at any buffet or family-style restaurant she will be charged the adult price even if she only eats from the childrens selections or very little from the family platters. As long as you are aware of this, then I think the selections you have already made are fine.

Looks like she likes Italian food. How about Tony's, Mama Melrose or Via Napoli?

PP's already mentioned MM's... that was going to be a vote...

My 2008 trip I had picky son, VERY picky DD and newly vegetarian DD (that year only).

So I poured over menus on allearsnet.com to find restaurants.. Suppose my point is to check those out to determine what she might eat at each spot..

That being said... As PP Mentioned... I NEVER had to worry at any of the Buffet's we went to... they would all three fill up ...
Cape May Seafood Buffet
Hollywood & Vine Buffet (I'm the lone person on here that recommends this)
etc...
So maybe you could throw a few buffets in here and there to mix things up a bit...
If you're like me you just don't want them eating the same thing all week...
have a Magical visit !
