Hello all!

We are taking an adults-only trip next month with DSis and her DH. Could you suggest a fun and crazy place that would work for us?

We have been to most of the "zany" restaurants, but always with the kids. What would your suggestion be for a crazy place that would cater to an all-adult party??

TIA!

marrakesh, biergarten, kiminos at the swan (karoake at night), sci fi dine inn & whispering canyon are all fun restaurants at the world, that my husband & i always enjoy. also check out the adventureres club at pleasure island & jellyrolls with the dueling piano bar at the boardwalk.

Last trip, even though there were 14 of us, my DH and I were the only ones that wanted to go to Boma. Let me tell you, it was a nice dinner. They gave us a quiet table in the corner by the windows, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though it is a buffet. Just a thought! :)

Thanks for all the suggestions! We've been to most of the places you've thought us. Except Kimono---hadn't heard about that one??

I'm just curious how "in character" the CMs are at my favorite places when the table is strictly adults. We've generally travelled with the kids, and most of the "action" has focused on them, KWIM??

Hadn't thought of Boma---DH and I loved it there. To DH, it is between Whis. Canyon and Prime Time. I'm trying to think out of our Disney-box!

Any more thoughts, keep it coming!

I really suggest you take in the Luau at the Poly. It is a very fun event. You may even get pick to hula up on stage. We've done it twice and have had a lot of fun both times. Definetly more of an adult event.

Thanks for the suggestions.

We won't be there over a Sunday, so no brunch. DSis and her DH spend two weeks in Hawaii every year, so I don't think the luau would interest them.

I think we've narrowed it down to Primetime and/or Boma, both of which we love! I really want them to see AKL---I love it there!

BTW, I would say that interaction between CMs and guests has less to do with having kids at the table than it does with the attitude of the CM. If you are clearly there for fun and the CM is the type who enjoys the job and likes to have fun, you'll have a blast. CMs, IMHO, are either duds or stars -- it's them, not the guests, that dictates the spirit of the party!

I totally agree!!! That is exactly what I told my husband I'm afraid of: We've had fun times at all of the "theme" restaurants, but if we get a dud of a CM after telling my DSis how awesome it was, I'd be mad!!
