Suggestions on where to stay

WE just decided that when my dh gets back from IRaq we're going to go DW.

It will most likely be sometime in October, will crowds be doable?

We've only been once and that time we had 19 in our group so we rented two houses which was perfect for that trip, this time we want to stay onsite. There is a possiblity that we'll have my MOm with us so that'd make 5 in our party.

The places I seem to be leaning toward are Animal Kindgom Lodge, Old Key West, Coronado Springs or the Dolphin/Swan..

Any suggestions?

Have you considered Shades of Green? This is the resort for military and DOD employees. The other resorts are very nice also. Having 5 people does create some problems since I think only POR will sleep that many in one room.

All those that I posted I got priced for with 5 guests.

Is it worth joining AAA to save on the rate at the resorts?

We have considered SOG, but we'd have to get two rooms there also, or a suite.

Yes, but make sure there is availability using the AAA discount at the resort you choose. Then join, then book your room.
