Although my wife and I have gone several times by ourselves....we will be going to DL for the first time with our 10 month old.

I realized that all I will be doing is taking our baby around in the stroller.

I know that we will be taking alot of pictures and videos. But I never really noticed if there are height/ride restrictions on rides less hectic rides like "Its a Small World" or "Mr.Toad's Wild Ride".

Are there any height restrictions for those rides?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, if we are staying at a Non-Disney Hotel, are we able to go to the Disney charecter breakfast at the Disney Hotel?

No restrictions on Small World or Mr Toad, or Snow White, Peter Pan, Mad Hatter, Alice, Dumbo etc - the only restrictions we encountered (when we tried to put our 6YO and 9YO together in a car on Toad and then ride behind them) was that an adult ride with them. With a 10 Month old I assume this was never an option anyway!

I think you are also fine to ride Pirates and Haunted Mansion, Pooh, Jungle boats etc. If there is a restriction just do the kid swap - both join the queue, tell the CM, then one rides while the other waits with the child. At the end of the ride hand over the baby then the other partner rides - means you only have to queue once.

We went to a character breakfast while staying off site - as far as I'm aware there are no restrictions on any of these.

Hmmm....my DW always loves to go on the Big Mountain rollercoaster ride....so we will have to hand off my 10 month old to my In-Laws while we ride. But it would seem that most of the slow rides that take us around ( like Its a Small World or Peter Pan's ride ) let's babies on the ride.

My Disney Family ( and In-Laws ) will be planning a huge trip to DisneyWorld in August....hopefully, I won't be running into the same problem there.

We took my son when he was 10 months old (and I was 8 weeks pregnant). I was amazed at how much he could ride on. It seemed like almost everything. And he enjoyed all of it. We didn't have the problem of handing off since I was pregnant and couldn't ride pretty much the same things he couldn't ride, but I can tell you he had a great time. When we went (4 years ago) the breakfast at the Plaza Inn was Winnie the Pooh and friends. He LOVED that. He kept poking Pooh in the behind to get him to pay more attention to him. He also like the Chip 'n Dale breakfast at GC. I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful time.

Thanks....I'm gonna poke around and try to figure out which Charecter Breakfast to go to.....I'm leaning towards the Goofy Kitchen at the DL Resort.

Don't forget the Tiki Room, Omnibus, Fire Truck and the Horse Drawn Cart that all go up and down Main Street USA... the Train around the park, Tea Cups (you don't have to spin them), Casey Jr. Train, Storybook Land, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, Mark Twain/Columbia, Pinnocho, the Carousel and of course all the shows, parades... theres so much to do and enjoy... also, there is a Baby Station located on the North/East side of Main Street if you need anything... it's really nice in there. Have fun... :earsgirl:
