Suggestions on Teva or Keen Sizing

We are heading down to Disney May 1, absolutely cannot wait!

Anyway, I ordered online a pair of Keen sandals, my usual size 8 -
when I received them they feel like a size too small and I returned. I really did like the comfort feel of them otherwise.

Question - Do you guys find Keen usually runs a little small? So should I think about getting a 9? Also, what is your feeling of how Teva sandals run for sizing?? They look great as well, and I would consider either one...

I just bought my first pair of Keen's I usually where a 9 and I ordered a 9.5. I heard they run small so I went to try them on at a local place and then ordered them cheaper on line. I also tried a 10 and it would have worked too except there is a ridge that runs between the toes and foot and it did not hit in the right place otherwise I may have bought the 10's. If you have anywhere near you that carries them, I would just go try them on. I looked on keen's website to see what stores carried them. Good luck, I do love them.

I just went out to try on Teva's yesterday because I wanted to know what size I should order online.

Usually I wear a 9.5, many times in sandals, though, I wear a 9. The 9 was way too small. I tried on a 10 and they were just about perfect. So, I would agree and say they run a little small.

Only my kids have Keen's, so I can't help there.

My Tevas are true to size for me. I ALWAYS wear a 7 (well since DS was born 10 years ago ). Anyway, all of my shoes are 7's and the Tevas feel perfect.

Maybe it depends on the style? I have the Olawahu's and bought the same size I normally wear. They fit perfectly.

Yes, I always get a 1/2 size larger in Keens. They are the best Disney shoes EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have several pairs of Teva also....Ventura cork sole and sport sandals. I usually need 1/2 size up in them, too. For me, they are not as supportive as the Keens and I don't wear them for a full day of parks. But some folks here swear by them for the parks, so I guess it is a personal preference.

Thanks for all the replies! I think I will go to Rochester tomorrow and size some shoes in person, and then order online .......
