Suggestions on Contemporary room request

Never stayed at Contemporary before, and will be there next week. Can anyone suggest a room request, for a standard room, either a floor suggestion and/or view suggestion that would be accomadated by a standard double room? Thanks!

Let me ask you what type of room reservation do you have? Is it for a Magic Kingdom view or a Bay Lake view in the Tower building? If not that is it a Garden Wing reservation? If it's for a Magic Kingdom view I think the view looks the same no matter if your on a low floor, or a high floor. I also think it's the same for a Bay Lake view. I can't comment on the Garden Wing views since my family and I have never stayed in that part of the Contemporary before.

Thanks for the views that could be available. Since we are going on a conference rate special, the Contemporary may give us the least desired rooms and or/view, but at least in printing off what you say is available, maybe I can try to get some type of upgrade. Thank you for info!

Hi, Huntava..

It was explained to me that the standard rooms at CR are the Garden Wing Rooms (The South Garden Wing to be specific). Naturally, being a standard, they don't have the glorious views of the MK that you would get if you were staying in the more expensive Tower. I will be staying in the Garden Wing for my October trip, and would also be interested in knowing any more details about these rooms as I think some of the rooms face the bay and others the parking lot. There are some pictures of a garden wing room and its view on the CR FAQ thread (approx page 179). Hope that helps you.

I believe the 1st floor rooms have little patios and the 2nd and 3rd floors do not have balconies so you may want to ask for a 1st floor room.
