Hi, we are going to disney on 2/20-2/25 and are staying at the boardwalk deluxe studio villas and are there toasters in the room and what kind of
coffee maker??? I've called 6 times and truly got 6 different answers!!! Side note , i don't know why u can not call the resort directly!!!!
It would be very simple and get the right answer!!! ( funny how "every " resort has a different #) Thanks jim & deb

Yes all DVC rooms have a toaster.
The coffee pot will be a Keurig Duo (12 cup plus K cup).

Your room will also have a real fridge as opposed to a beverage cooler so if you prefer real half and half compared to the little creamers they provide you can pick up a carton at the Screen Door General store.

There is a great thread here that gives info on coffee makers in every resort.

Even if there were a way to call the resort directly, you'd just get a 7th different answer. ;)

If the resort has a non Dvc side, just a reg hotel, there are a wide select of styles. When you get to resort, call housekeeping and request what you want. You need to req BEFORE you need item (2-4 hours ahead).
Resorts do NOT take direct calls, All calls go to a central call center. Calling ahead really does not help since HK does have a room number till you c/i and arrive at the room.

I think you are correct!!!!! LOL :)

Studios at BWV may have a single cup Keurig, although recent reports are starting to show Duos in all size villas. If your room doesn’t have one and you need a Duo, which has the grounds side in addition to the k-cup side, you should be able to get one from housekeeping.

Thanks for the various shoutouts to my coffee-makers thread, which the mods have graciously made a sticky so it’s easier to find.

Toasters are in the larger villas, so if there isn’t one in the studio when you arrive, that’s something else you should be able to request from housekeeping.

As Narcoosee11 said, make sure you make the requests well before you need the item. Preferably make the request during the daytime hours when there’s more staff, that usually speeds up arrival of items.

Are Keurig pods/coffee packets included in the DVC units at Copper Creek? Just need to know what to add to my shopping list if so. TIA

I guess my question is do they stock enough of the coffee pods/packets for a four day stay for 4 adults or are they "starter" amenities. Happy to add to my shopping list but don't need $20 worth of pods if they supply them already.

No they don't stock that much. I think it is usually like 6 Kcups (some are decaf) and 2 of the bagged coffee.

You can always request more through mousekeeping though.

Since we don't rope drop a lot so we meet a lot of the people doing the safety inspection and gathering trash come while we are in the room and will always ask if we need anything.

People are right about different resorts having different coffee makers. I watched the room tour of the newly renovated Kidani studio on the board sponsored YouTube channel, and it had the small Keurig, not the duo. And the mini fridge did not have a freezer compartment. I can see why it would be confusing!

Adding a note to the previous answers you’ve gotten, the “creamer” is generally either the powdered or shelf-stable non-dairy substance. If you need real cream or milk, you’ll need to add that to the order. Resort store or quick service will have large and small milks, but I’ve rarely seen cream.

THanks, I drink my coffee black but I'll check with the others. We'll likely get milk as there is a toddler in our group. I think I'll just add pods to my list as well, prefer to have them available as needed instead of having to request them...I'm not really all that "Disney Happy" if I don't have my coffee when I need it, always upon waking but also at that iced coffee or cocktail hour around 4 lol.

I've only stayed at deluxe or DVC but our rooms have always had the liquid creamers that you can find at the quick services if you have a refillable mug. I think they are carnation? Also the deluxe gift shops have a grocery section and you are able to purchase half and half creamer there.

They don’t all consistently have actual half and half creamer at the grocery sections. They don’t stock a ton of each item, so availability can vary depending on demand. If people are doing a grocery order anyway, they are safer (and much cheaper) to order creamer as well as whatever milk they want.

As for the little shelf-stable creamers, any of them that survive unrefrigerated for long periods of time have a questionable relationship to a cow at best. Even the ones that claim to be actual milk or cream are generally more chemical than dairy product, other than the much more expensive UHF type boxed milk, which I’ve never seen in any Disney room, quick service or food court. My opinion of their creamers is based on the fact I have an intolerance (mild allergy) to non-dairy substitutes, and cannot use Disney’s unrefrigerated creamer mini-tubs without drastic results. And the “creamer” dispensers at the value resort food courts are even worse, no cows were even remotely consulted on the production of that substance. DH has learned to put up with the wait for me to hunt down real milk from a CM at the food courts, it’s better and safer for everyone involved.

If you aren’t picky about what coffee you drink or what you put in it, and you don’t have any dietary restrictions, yes, there are always or mini-tubs of creamer or the powder packets along with the coffee supplies at each resort. And there’s generally sugar and sweetener packets and stir sticks. But if, like me, you’re fussy enough about your coffee that you have a coffee maker and supplies in your Owner’s Locker and you’ve created a whole thread on the DIS about what type of coffee maker is at each resort, you want to order (or bring) your own coffee and supplies.
