Hi all. I just had a wait list for BLT standard come through!! We had a lake view and i requested the even number, north end that people suggest but was wondering what people request, if anything, for the standard view. Thanks!!!

We always request "across from Bus Stop." We find this to be the most convenient for us. The rooms are at most a 5-7 minute walk (if you use the stairwells). It will also put you closest to the parking lots if you drive.

It depends on a lot of things- all of the standard views are on the first 5 floors (and very few are above the 2nd floor). If you don't want ground floor make that your first request. An even numbered room may give you a view of the MK and parking lot. None of the views are good which is why they are classified as standard view.

In my experience, there is little choice in a standard view room- the last 2 times we checked into a standard view room only 1 or 2 were coming available that day so it is not like it would have mattered if we had a request. The time mthere was 2 and we checked in early in the day (around 11 am) the desk cm had just had a very hard costumer and we smiled and gave her a moment to relax- when the rooms came up she saw hat the one we were assigned was not ready and looked at the other one- she told us our room had a better view of the park but the other one was ready if we wanted it instead but she would suggest staying with our assigned room- we stayed with the room we had been assigned which was directly below a low TP view room. It was beautiful to sit out on our balcony at night and see the lights and castle lit up but the parking lot was very visible.

I have to agree that the big difference is that the first floor has a patio and the others have a balcony. Personally I would not be too thrilled with a patio because it is not even railed off, but is just a slab like a patio on house would be. Also the even ones mainly look at the parking lot and the odd number look at more of a garden view (bamboo really).

There are difference in 1BRs and 2BRs that are even and odd numbered, but that applies to all of the BLT villas. The studios are all the same. The even number 1 & 2BRs all have a larger kitchen island with stools for seating. The living room is wider because of the pie shape on the outer portion of the C. The odd number 1 & 2BRs have an actual laundry room versus the laundry closet. It gives those villas more storage area.

I'd go with "highest floor possible," followed by "odd numbered room." We had a standard view villa last summer and on the lower floors, in the even number rooms, I just felt like it was a parking lot view. We were really close to the entrance as well, and looking towards MK, all we could see was that concrete overhang. Kids kind of enjoyed the monorail, but I really couldn't enjoy coffee or wine on the balcony like I can on the lake side.

We had a second floor standard view overlooking the fountain with the pool off to the right. I really thought it was a nice view for being standard!

the same thing. like the 5th or 4th floor - standard rooms are only on the 1st thru 5th floors.
