Ok
I'm looking for any suggestions for something exciting / different to do on our last morning-

BUT

We won't have a car and we won't have any park tickets left! :scratchin

We will be staying at BWV , our cases will be all packed and we plan on leaving luggage with bell services so we can do something.

Our town car will be picking us up approx 2pm from boardwalk as our flight leaves 18.30 from Sanford.

I don't wanna waste the morning but need some suggestions -

Any ideas are really appreciated - perhaps is there any activities / tours at a disney resort - the day will be a Thursday

Thank you for your help .
:goodvibes

Two things I thought of - Segway tour at Fort Wilderness or horse riding.

Then I thought boat rental, parasailing at the CR, mini golf or a character breakfast at one of the resorts :rotfl:

Grab a bus to DTD then lunch and a game of 10 pin bowling at Splitsville

We went to Orlando Premium Outlets on our last morning and spent a fortune, there are some amazing bargains to be had. The Vineland outlet is only 10 mins drive from YC so I guess it would be cheapish in a cab. Well worth a visit :)

We ended up late to the airport because we couldn't drag ourselves away lol.

Thanks for the suggestions so far !

We will already of had a day at premium outlets earlier in trip and the goodies we will have no doubt gotten will be packed in our cases .

How about getting the bus to MK and doing a resort tour? Use the boats and monorail to visit Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Poly and Grand Floridian. Great fun, take york mug and have a drink and wander around these resorts.

We haven't done a tour on our last day but have visited the Poly for one last dole whip, or the Grand Floridian for lunch and a sit on the beach on the swinging chair :)

Personally we really love to lounge in the pool until the last possible moment on our last day. At all the resorts we have stayed at there have been showers by the pool to use and hair dryers at some. We did the cinema at DTD one year but regretted that once we were on the flight as we all dropped off during the film which made the long flight home a wakeful pain!

This might be an idea for you.

Your cases are packed and you have about 4 to 45 hours wait time

With out Car.

Take your Swim gear out of your case . & find plastic bags ..

Then " Go for a swim " at The Boardwalk beach area Or at the swimpool area

by the steps which lead up to the Boardwalk Hotel, ( Back to lake & on Right hand side .. behind .. fitness room )

Chill out . Get dressed & PUT Wet Swim gear into Plastic Bag.

Then collect cases and take the shuttle bus from , as you have said , the Boardwalk.

Think you need to be a resident to use pool and you cant swim on the beach

You can still use the pools on your check out day and the lockers and showers there too. Walks around the resort are usually a good option too as some have a pleasant jogging track and you can usually see a bit of nature from them things like birds and turtles on the water. We have had a character breakfast on our final day before and it was a neat way to spend a couple of hours and as most are set in another resort you can also take a good look around them. We have also caught the bus to DTD and gone to the cinema and had hot food and watched a good film and done some shopping let's face it you could still have snack or quick service credits on your dining plan left to use up and there are options at DTD to use them. If you go to the outlets on your last day just remember you will need to remove tags etc. before you pack your items and still be able to take them into the airport in a carry on bag unless you have room in your cases for more . Remember to take some photos of your resort before you leave if you can, once you come home you can look at them and remember your holiday as you return to normal daily life.

Thanks for your suggestions

As we will be at boardwalk I'm thinking of perhaps a character breakfast at Cape May at the beach club which is a nice walk around the lake. Followed by a walk to the fantasia crazy golf - we've not done either of those before ;)

Great idea :)

It's a shame you can't go to SAB too, that would have been a great way to pass the morning.
