Suggestions needed for non see through ladies white shorts

Well I think the title says it all - we're heading to the world in a couple of weeks and I'd love to bring a pair of white shorts but all the ones I've tried on are so see through you can see the pocket outlines and that is just not a good look for me. Any recommendations?

Sorry, no suggestions - I can't wear white shorts. Just don't like them on me. Plus, they show dirt and stains so easily.

If you are set on finding white shorts, I'd try to find a canvas or denim pair since that material is heavier than a plain cotton and wouldn't be see through. Other than that, my suggestion would be to avoid white all together.

Have you looked at golf stores? Often those shorts are very well made and a heavy duty material. My mom has a few white golf skirts and they're not see-through at all....trust me I double checked, lol

Try looking at boardshorts maybe? try quiksilver or another similar brand.

A woman in the lingerie department recommended nude-colored boyshorts underneath and that works like a charm. Perfect under a white skirt or white pants as well and super comfy as well with no panty lines. You can find different styles a www.barenecessities.com

White shorts are awesome. So pretty in the summer.

The key to wearing white shorts gals is great underwear. Like Suzanne said the right colored undies with no lines will give you a great look.

If you are fair skinned, nude color works best. If you are dark skinned then a basic black works great.

I like these shorts from talbots. they come in a variety of lengths 7inch to 13 inches. They are a little pricey for a pair of shorts but I've had mine for almost 7 years and they wash great.

I love them because they are not "low rise".

Come in tons of colors. I like the long length when I go to disney in the summer and at night I feel great in them at a restaurant.

If you can wait, these things go on sale every August. I pick up a few for 19.99 and I'm ready for the next summer.

When I wore white shorts I bought them at Landsend or LLBean. I like them because you couldn't see through them and I liked the longer length they came in.
