Can anyone give me some good page topics please?

my very good friend from school has just adopted a chinese girl (after many IVF rounds and years of red tape) and I'd really like to make her a little scrapbook she can put some key photos and memories in. Her DH is a keen photographer and has a HUGE blog ongoin on the process, how she's settling, language (she's living in the Netherlands so she needs to learn Dutch AND English!) etc. - my friend is not so hot on these thigs, but I thought if I did some simple pages with room for a photo and journalling even she might manage that:rolleyes1 (or her DH can help;) ) then when the little girl is older it will be nice to look through together.

I've got a few ideas but suggestions very welcome! It will probably be 8x8 to save postage.

Thanks all!

Adoption is a :goodvibes type of thing! I have an adopted niece and nephew from Guatamala, but I do know 2 people who have adopted girls from China.

There is an old Chinese Proverb about Red Threads:

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances.
The thread may stretch or tangle but will never break.
Chinese Red Thread Proverb

One of my friend actually used this red-thread theme to keep their adoption blog for friends and family, Sorry - the link is no longer active, it was more of a "while we are waiting for the adoption process" kind of thing.

Also for theme ideas - ladybugs are a "good-luck" charm for Chinese Adoptionsl I do not know much about this - as my friend went more with hte red-thred theme

GOOD LUCK!

I love that quote - perfect for the opening page! I planned on a red backdrop with a photo mat for a nice pic and a "who what where when" grid, but the proverb will make a lovely feature.
