Suggestions Needed DVC Summer Vacation

I just submitted a contract for 160 SSR points and am waiting to see if I clear fror. We are from Ohio and looking for suggestions to where we should go for our summer vacation. We want to go to HH but are afraid it will be sold out by the time we get our points. Suggestions please!!!

If you pass ROFR, you probably won't close until June- I am not sure what your options will be, except to call MS when you get in the system and get on waitlists for any resort you are hoping for if nothing is available.

Hi, PastorNick! We are from OH as well and own at SSR. Congrats on your offer and good luck with ROFR!!!

As for HHI, you can always call and request ressies, but it's difficult to book in the summer. I called about 2 months ago to book a 1 or 2-BR at either HHI or VB and both were already booked the entire summer. Most DVCers plan far in advance, making last minute trips a little more challenging. However, if you want to go to WDW and can be flexible, you can definitely enjoy your points this summer. If not, consider banking them and it will give you a nice pool of points to have fun with next year!

If you think you will want to stay at HHI during summer months, you really need to check out a small contract there.
