Hi there everyone! I need alittle help, partly because I roll differently than the friends (who are also my co-workers) I'm bringing as guests this November trip.:goodvibes
I like to plan something different, something never done before (in my 25 and counting trips to the World;)), which usually involves an extra cost (and sometimes a costly one at that) over and above the flight, food and park ticket, which is usually all the cost this group likes to go for. They like to keep as close to just laying out for the flight, park ticket and any food costs as possible and not do anything that costs extra (i.e. the dessert party, or a F&W event, etc).

While I understand that they are my guests and this is the type of trip they prefer, I will stick to that (outside of one or two nice sit down dinners, which they agree with), however I'm wondering if any of you have any ideas for something that offers alittle extra magic:wizard:, but not one that costs or at least not one that costs too much??

I find this challenging and would greatly appreciate any input you guys can offer!

Since you will be at AKV you might take the kitchen tour that someone mentioned recently. I would have liked to do it but did not know about it when we were there earlier this month. I think it is free and might just add a little something different. Not quite like a dessert party or fireworks cruise but different and cheaper.

Hard to know what to suggest w/out knowing what you've done, where you're staying, what you like...but some random ideas:

1. A picnic on the beach at BLT/CR, or the Poly (or another of the MK resorts) to watch Wishes and then the Electrical Water Parade

2. The outdoor stage show at DTD

3. Mini gold at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland

4. Boardwalk "street shows" (if budgets will bear it, maybe including some time
at Jelly Rolls?)

5. Marshmallow roasting/movies on the beach at several resorts

6. A "home--made" pool party (maybe at one of your resort's quiet pools)

7. Fantasmic

Good luck!

Best extras I have done.

Wishes dessert party, cost about 30$ a person, and the chocolate covered straberries are worth that alone.. the view is wonderful.

Watching fireworks from the Poly pool.

MVMCP cost about 60$ a person (I have done NSSHP, and it was worth it I am assuming this one is too.)
