suggestions from the experts - camera needed for - my bride

Hello and thanks to you all. I requested suggestions for a camera - you hit it out of the park...I LOVE MY CANON S3IS. Sooooooo many fantastic pictures too little hard drive space (just kidding).

We are just a month away from taking a Disney World park and cruise vacation...I want to remember each and every second. We plan on using the photopass system - so all family members can get in the photos...but....I want my bride to have something she can use during and enjoy post trip.

I am a canon person...the brand is in the genes - shot with an A1 for 20 years (ok...you may call me 'the photo caveman') - my apology to those that have preference to another brand.

Yes...there is a request for your input (kevin...this is a discussion board - give them a chance). Did see on Best Buy a Canon A560 for ~$150 - this is in our price range and fit her requirements. My bride wants something that is easy to hold...has a reasonable sized screen and will shoot 3 active daughters well. This is small enough to fit in a pocket or belt case - easy to use - are very important to the love of my life.

OK...I'll sign out...close my mouth and let the experts discuss.

If the "A" series is larger than she wants, there is always the SD series. I had a A70 and A520 before two "S" series cameras and they were alright, but a little frustrating after using an "S" series. If she is not too used to your S3, then she will likely be happy with an "A".

I love my little SD700IS. Hard to find now but I think Broadway Photo has them for about $200 plus s&h. Nice large LCD, etc. And, if you get into underwater photos, Canon makes a nice case for it.

PS - I'm a lifelong Canon fan too, so I understand.
