Suggestions for using 50% off coupon?

I just got an email from AC Moore that includes a 50% off coupon good on one regular priced item, valid tomorrow only. I was planning to go anyway, but now I have to think about how I'd like to use this coupon. I am WAY newbie at this, but here are my thoughts on "maybe" items. I'd appreciate hearing from the veterans about the best way to use this.

"Maybe" items:

-good pens for journaling
-a 12 x 12 album for the 2007 family album I will be starting soon
-a rolling cart for paper and supplies as I don't have the luxury of permanent scrapping space. I am limited to using the kitchen table, so I have to clean up after each session, and right now all my stuff is in store bags.
-a big pack of solid colors 12 x 12 cardstock
-something that a newbie wouldn't think of that a veteran thinks is indispensable

While I have been called the Queen of Paper, I would opt for storage. It would make your scrapping life so much easier since you cant leave it out.

Since I am able to leave mine out, I would opt for more paper but that is me and I just cant resisit paper.

Also, which ever piece you find that will yield the bigger savings with the 50% get that one. I love a good deal. That way you can go back and use the 40% one off the rest of the week

I agree on the storage, unless you think you might want to splurge on a diecutter that you have been eyeing.

I tend to use all my 40% or 50% coupons on Disney Jolee's because everything else (storage, cardstock, sizzix, adhesive) seems to go on sale for that much occasionally, but the Jolee's here never go more than 30%.

Sizzix if you don't have one which I would use the 50% on an alphabet and the 40% on the machine.
Or storage, a nice bag or something. It sounds like you need that the most.
Albums go on sale a lot so I wouldn't do that.

When I get those, I usually buy an Alphabet with them, although the last time I had one, I bought the Crop A Dile and wrapped it up for myself for Christmas!!

get storage! Buy the biggest thing you can find! You will fill it up eventually, trust me! lol. I dont have a AC more, but I know that Hobby Lobby always runs 50% off of almost everything scrapbook related (with the exception of rolling storage, I think they only discount that by 30%) about every month or so.
