Suggestions for unlocked phones

Now I love my Blackberry Passport but it won't run the My Disney Experience app.
Does anyone know where I could pick up an inexpensive unlocked phone in Canada?

We had our phones unlocked by Telus and then bought two SIM cards through Roam mobility. (Picked them up at London Drugs here in BC) Now we can just buy a plan through Roam whenever we go down to the US.

Roam also sells unlocked phones through their website.

I'd look at an Android phone with at least KitKat (4.2). You could look at e-bay, Canada Computer, Factory Direct as a few places for a refurbished unit (if not no name, will run you upwards of $100+) or just look at one of the cheap Que phones from Roam (if going with Roam) as for $149 you get a new phone (low end but new - not one with a dying battery someone is selling online or a refurbished returned unit) and they include the sim for free.

Myself, I'd buy a cheap new (unlocked) phone but if only using once or for one visit, does not BB have a way to load and run Android apps to allow it to run MDE? Remember as well if using just onsite at WDW, with wi-fi everywhere you could technically use a locked phone (take out the sim) with wi-fi enabled on the phone to use the app.

Or even an ipod touch would work with the wifi. Expansys is another site where you can buy unlocked phones (pretty much everything you can imagine at any price you can imagine).

I have Rogers Share Everything Plan with Roam as you Go which is great for texting between our phones while in the US.
Blackberry does have a way to run Android apps but some of them (including MDE) are prone to crashing which is not what I want when I am changing my FP+ selections.
I wondered if a locked phone would work. I have an old LG Eclypse but I can't update the OS to work with MDE.
I'll look into some of the suggested phones, thanks.
