Hi Everyone,
I have 9 people at my house Christmas morning and I am the official stocking stuffer. I have no trouble with the girls and women but the men and boys throw me. I have chocolate for them and a t shirt for the 11 year old. Any suggestions would help. The men are 40, 52 and 70 and the boy is 11. I thought of home depot gift cards as they are all handy but I need things with a little more bulk to fill out the stocking.

Thanks for your help.

Grooming kit (nail clipper, scissors, tweezer, etc). A lint brush. Wallet. Key fob. Earbuds for there mp3 player. Car charger for the cell phone. Or an extra battery for the phone. Gourmet coffee or hot chocolate packets. Gloves.

Batteries, deodorant, body spray, toothbrushes, toothpaste, gum, gloves, small bottle of hand sanitizer, a deck of cards, razors, shaving cream, gift cards (Mcdonalds, Subway, Toysrus, Home Depot, etc), books, small tools (screwdriver, tape measure, etc). I have 3 boys, it gets difficult to come up with new ideas. Good luck.

Lottery tickets, my husband loves candles, magazine subscription, nuts. One of those oversized bottles of Corona (if there's a beer drinker) - I'm putting beef jerky, slim jims and a spray cheese in my little boy's stocking because he wants them all the time at the store and I refuse to buy spray cheese! LOL

Here's a few more ideas - a booklight, sunglasses, safety goggles, boxers, a magnifying glass, and some of the big, oversized candy - a giant Hershey's Kiss or the king-size candy bars. Travel-size games, rechargeable batteries, a case for business cards, a poster (still rolled up, of course), a bookmark, luggage tags, lanyard for work id badge, a travel mug, and one of those neoprene straps for sunglasses (can't remember at the moment what those are called) are a few other ideas that come to mind.

Those small led flashlights are great. Even for women. You can get cheap ones at Home Depot or Menards for just a couple of bucks. You can even get a package of 10 or 12 and divide them up.

Everyone I've given them to loves getting them!

Gloves, hand warmers, earbuds, itunes card, wallet, favorite magaine, gas GC, carwash tickets, fast food GC, all in one tool, pocket knife, duct tape, tire pressure gauge, favorite snacks, dress socks, tie, cuff links, movie theater pass, starbucks or DD GC.

Great ideas so far...a few more (hopefully no repeats):

Reusable water bottles, travel coffee mugs, golf balls, tees, tennis balls, batting gloves, tokens to batting cages, boxers, dvd or cd from the bargain bins (Walmart often has both for $5 or less), comic books, absorbant drink coasters for cars, gloves, sports stuff, car air freshners, valet/charging station (this time of year you can often find some super cheap deals on these), mints, wii point gift cards (my DH and DSs all love to download games), frisbees, nerf basketball hoops, nerf balls, funny/vintage look graphic tees, car washing stuff.

Those handwarmers.. They normally sell them at walmart by the register.. they come in packs of 2.. you shake them and that activates an ingredient and they warm up.. you can put them in your pocket..

I lucked out though and found some at Dollar Tree this year..

If they like coffee then see if you Target has any of the small dollar specialty coffees. I put them in DH's stocking.

If you want a funny gift then wild boxers.

Favorite snacks such as chips, goldfish or the like.

I didn't even post the original question, but you all gave me some great ideas for hubby. Thanks!

Oooh. I hadn't thought of the handwarmers :thumbsup2

I think Santa may leave each child a pack or two with a note to "save for a snow day" :)

Since you have plenty of great ideas for the older guys here are some things I've gotten for my Middle DS (He's moving up to Boy Scouts in February so some items may not be typical):

Tech Decks (you can get individual ones at Target in back of store in the holiday section for @$2)
Small lego sets (again they have small sets at target in back of store in holiday section for @ $4)
Glow sticks - Target Dollar Section
Hand warmers - Target Dollar Section or any hardware store
iTunes GC
Wallet
Church Key Can/Bottle Opener
Scout Belt
Zippo Lighter
Key Chain
Dog Tags - These can be had cheap and all my guys love them. I got them here http://www.dogtagsonline.com/
Cap Gun

For all of them but stuff that's going in middle DS's stocking this year or went in last year:

LED headlamp - $10 @ Home Depot
Screwdriver with multiple interchangeable ends (again home depot)
Pocket Knife
Screaming Flying Slingshot Monkey or chicken or pig (Amazon.com @$2 ea)

If the stockings are big think about a cheap DVD - they have some for under $5.

ETA - I just thought of another one. At Bob's Stores (a local sporting goods chain) they had baseball caps that were rolled up tight around a sausage rolled T-shirt. Just the right size to go in a stocking.

Thank you everyone for the fantastic ideas. They are great. I need to sort through them. I did travel mugs and boxers last year which worked out great, maybe they need more this year. LOL

Half the gang lives in the Phoenix area so they can not use the warm stuff by my DH and DD can, I already bought myself a pair of gloves for my stocking.

Thanks again

I agree! Thanks everyone-- I forgot about razors! DBF grows a 5 o'clock shadow by 11 am, so he goes through them SO fast. That'll be perfect-- the hand-warmers, too!

OP, thus far I have deodorant and 2 pounds of orange gummy bears for DBF's stocking. Maybe you could find out a particular candy/snack each of them personally love?

DS, age 17, is getting the following in his stocking this year:

1. iTunes gift card
2. McDonalds gift card
3. Showel gel
4. Deoderant
5. Bottle of classic Coke (weird, I know, but DS loves these and insists the Coke tastes better in them, so I always put a bottle in his stocking)
6. Earbuds

In the past, I have put other items in his stocking, like, cologne, shampoo/conditioner (I get speciality products for men found in salons) other gift cards, sunglasses, belt, key chain, cash, pocket knife, watch, winter scarf, gum/mints, candy.

Liquor filled chocolates (obviously for the over 21 guys!)
Eyeglass cleaning/repair kit
Silly String (everyone gets one in my girlfriends family and they go outside and blast each other on Christmas Day)
lottery tickets
mini nerf guns
Air Freshener for the car

Our home depot had a ton of small stocking stuffer gifts for cheap-mini screwdriver sets, ratchets, gloves, etc. Have fun!

Love the silly string idea! Might have to add that one!

One I don't think I've seen - chapstick / lipbalm.

If your guys have the Nerf guns, how about refill packs of the foam ammo?

Toe warmers, like the hand ones only for your shoes.

Laundry stick, DH has a knack for spilling coffee on his dress shirts

Toothbrushes, everyone gets their multipack for year at Xmas, enough to change every 3 months that way I only have to buy toothbrushes once a year.

Chapstick, also good for using under eyebrows as a barrier to keep sunscreen out of eyes, no mediciney ones just plain

Gum, always a hit, for the younger ones get the freaky mixed flavors, I've found that whatever sounds gross to me DD loves

Thanks to poster for spray cheese idea DD is always buggin for this stuff too

To Poster who is getting Classic Coke in bottle, Your DS is right it is way better in glass bottle. I'm looking for the new Zero ones in glass for DD (she's Diabetic) and loves to have the glass Classic ones to treat low blood sugars.
