Good question, I‘m interested in the answer too. But I know the Villages is out.

I’ve been staying in timeshare resorts near Disney and a lot of people I meet own many weeks worth of points and travel between timeshare resorts, sometimes staying 3-4 weeks in one spot over the winters.

My friend’s parents used to rent a large vacation home for 2-3 months every winter in a community behind AK and their families and friends would pop in to visit them at various times (I stayed a week with them once). I’d love to do that!

Right now I’ve been coming down for 2-3 weeks at a time and rent timeshare condos from various owners. So I often move every week as I pursue whatever deals are available.

The houses I found were more expensive with less amenities than a 1-2 bedroom condo.
