Hi all,

My wife and I are visiting Disney World next month and staying onsite but not visiting the parks. What recommendations do you have for offsite less expensive restaurants that are sit down, table service types of places to eat?

Hi, We always have an early dinner (around)5pm at Bahama Breeze on Vineland. They have Happy Hour also for drinks and Apps. Food and service have always been great. We go early to avoid a wait for a table. And if you sign up online they offer discounts. On my recent visit in November I got a $10. off coupon in my email. Enjoy! Joan

Don't laugh but we love Steak N Shake. The 3 of us ate there (burgers, fries and shakes) for I think it was $26. I had purchased a $25 gift card prior to our trip for $22 so it turned out to be a really inexpensive meal that was pretty tasty actually. There is a Steak N Shake just outside of Disney Springs on S. Apopka. I also downloaded their app before we left which gave me a free shake!

We love Steak & Shake and Sweet Tomatoes. Sweet Tomatoes isn't a TS meal per se, as it is a buffet, but we really enjoy it.

Texas Roadhouse on hwy 192 west of Disney doesn't open till 3:30 weekdays I know you can each eat there for about 10.00. Olive Garden in that same area go at lunch time order whatever ya want eat the salad an breadsticks take entrée back to room heat up for supper. Bahama Breeze in that area as well Oh an Cracker Barrel. Logans roadhouse is on right down past Texas Roadhouse too. Chewy's Mexican.

I eat at the Texas Roadhouse frequently it's almost always very good. I've eaten Chewys little more expensive but not bad. The Red Lobster is good little more expensive than Texas Roadhouse coupon helps an going for lunch helps.

Another good option we've found is Logan's Steakhouse which is pretty close to property. If you head out past, Pop Century, turn right at Gaylord Palms it is on your left at intersection with 192. We have occasionally hit 3 course meals on Monday & Tuesday at really reasonable pricing. Also the Chevy's at the Crossing is reasonable with large portions
