Suggestions for Oct/Nov Visit?

We're heading to WDW for Food & Wine 28 Oct-4 Nov. We did Universal years ago, and enjoyed it, but haven't been back. Talking to DH and DS (21 years old) last night, and they expressed interest in seeing the Harry Potter park. Is it feasible to head over there for one day?

Feeling a bit frustrated, as I know next to nothing about Universal anymore. Went to the website, and now I'm totally confused. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Better to hit the darkside once Hhn event is over which will be October 31

Less crowds in early November

If you can't do uo at the beginning of November , hit UO on a Tuesday as no Hhn those days

One day is possible, but depending on your interests/thrill tolerance, it may be hard. Also, if any of you are true Potterheads, I would HIGHLY discourage trying to do everything in one day. The Harry Potter lands are so detailed that you may want one day to do those areas alone. My first post-HP visit was only one day and we literally did 3 rides outside of the HP areas.

Also, keep in mind that the Universal's Halloween Horror Nights will be going on during the first part of your visit. On HHN nights, the Studios side will close early at 5 p.m. Islands of Adventure will be open later. If you have a park-to-park pass (which you need if you want to ride the Hogwarts Express), you can head over to Islands when the Studios close.
