We are arriving on Friday afternoon and DD(5) has an apt at BBB. Im looking for something fun for us to do that evening....I have ressies booked for bowling at Splitsville, but I just saw someone post about a pirate cruise and it got me thinking.....maybe we should try something else??

Which BBB are you doing? When we've done BBB at the castle, it's nice to stay at the park and let the little princess prance around in the dress and soak up all the princess greetings. ;) My daughter loved it! Lots of great photo ops too. If you're doing it at DTD then that's different. You'll already be there. We've done the Pirates & Pals fireworks cruise - not sure if that's the one you're talking about. It was nice but not worth the cost IMO. I don't regret it but I wouldn't do it again. There's also the hot air balloon at DTD. There's great dining there (Raglan Road is our fave Disney restaurant and has great entertainment too). If your child is outgoing, it can be fun to do the little dance party by the water. We always have fun just strolling through DTD and especially the Lego store. I think that's a hit with everyone. There's also La Nouba and Disney Quest there. La Nouba is very pricey but if you've got a Disney vacation pkg, then you've already got 2 free passes for DQ. We did it for the first time on our recent trip. It didn't blow me away but we did have fun, and it's really a great option if the weather is bad.

We like doing a dinner at ohanas or kona and renting the mini racer boats before. My favorite pics of the kids are from those boats! We also like doing mini golf too. We got our Xmas card pic from the winter land mini golf course one year.

Also hoping over to ft. Wilderness and walking around and going to hoop dee doo for dinner and then a carriage ride is also fun!

Have a great trip!

Thanks so much for the ideas! The MK BBB is booked, so we will be at the DTD location.

Are you staying on site? We got vouchers for free admission to Disney Quest in our welcome packet, and plan to check that out on our "free" day. I was worried we really wouldn't like it, as we are not video game people, but after reading several reviews on it, it seems like a lot of fun.

We had a family date at Splitsville on Friday night and it was a TON of fun! Everyone had a great time.

Disneyquest is also a fun alternative. My kids love it there and we don't even have a video game system in the house.

Those are both great options!

If you are doing BBB, a princess meal goes really well with the makeover, maybe at the GF if you don't want to use a park entry?

YAY! We have ressies at Splitsville...does that mean we have a table reserved, but will need to get on a list for a bowling lane?
