Suggestions for nights of CM parties

Well, we were hoping to miss the darn CM parties but looks like we will have no luck there. So 2 nights the park will be closing at 6pm.

Any suggestions of what we could do?

Is the DLH pool heated? Maybe we could swim for awhile.

Goofy's Kitchen is NOT an option. It will be totally crowded and we have had 3 not so good experiences there.

Funny, our HORRIBLE experience at Goofy's was also during the night of one of the CM parties.

We did that one night and did Medeval Times the other night.

The pool is heated, we did that one night as well, but actually after the park closed at 8PM.

Don't they keep DCA open later? Personally I'm make reservations at Rainforest!

You can always spend time in Downtown Disney and do some shopping or you can go see a movie at the theater there. Dinner at Rainforest or ESPN might also be nice.

What days are the CM parties again?

The Disney Family Holiday Parties will be on 8 and 9 December.

DCA will be kept open much later to compensate. Also, I'm sure Disneyland Park will not be very crowded that day, as Locals are dissuaded from going by the early closing, so you can still do as much as you could do on a much more crowded day, if not more.
