Sooo...two or three days my DH is taking our oldest DS to Universal. I planned a bunch of fun stuff for my DD including 1900 Park Fare breakfast one day...BBB with Cindy's for lunch...1900 Park Fare for dinner one night, etc. Now I'm left with two TS on our plan and no clue where to use them! I'd love to go somewhere at either DTD or one of the resorts versus going to a park. I'll have my 4yr old DD and my 20 month old DS with me...any suggestions on where to go??

If you're looking for someplace to go to at one of the resorts, consider Chef Mickey's at CR. It's a really fun time for the kids and the food is super!

How about T-Rex at Downtown Disney...or the Rainforest Cafe? Keep in mind that both places can get a bit loud, which may be scary for some kids. We always found that if DH and I were calm and smiling the kids were too so we've never had a problem, but you know your kids best.

Another option is tea at the Grand Floridian. I've been taking my DD17 since she was your DD's age and it's always been a wonderful experience. Of course your 20-month-old might not enjoy it as much, but if he is well behaved in sit-down restaurants you should be fine. They have a special "tea" for kids (really chocolate milk) along with kid-friendly sandwiches and yummy pastries.

My final suggestion would be Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's lots of fun to explore the resort and see the animals before/after dinner. It is also a great place for kids to try new foods while still being able to get some old favorites.

Wherever you go, have a great time!

Ooo, great suggestions! Thank you. We are actually doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast as a family one morning...and I am SUPER excited! I've been thinking about the Wonderland Tea Party...it sounds really special and something my DD would LOVE. We've eaten at Boma before and it was soooo yummy--but I didn't think of checking out the animals! What a fantastic idea, especially for my DD the animal lover.

Is TRex on the DDP? I know Rainforest isn't. My kids will be bummed this year since we aren't doing Rainforest...but we have one close to home that we can pay OOP for. TRex would be right up their alley if it's on the dining plan!!

Thanks so much!!

For resorts what about Ohanas at the Poly?! great food and fun for the kids!! Also Wolfgang Puck down in DTD is very yummy!!

I don't think TRex or Rainforest are part of the DDP. They are Landry chains, not WDW eateries.

Oops...you are right. Sorry about that. I was just thinking restaurants, not dining plan. Again, apologies!

Okay then, I'll second the suggestion of Wolfgang Puck Cafe. Our lunch there was among the best meals we've ever had at WDW.
