Leaving in 2 weeks and thinking about meals that could be split. It will be my Mom and I, generally light eaters, my 10 year old neice and 4 year old nephew.

So far i know about...

Pasta at Red Rockets

Nachos at Whitewater Snacks

enchiladas at Rancho Z.

Other yummy suggestions?

my wife and I always split meals at the French Market in New Orleans Square. Their stew bread bowl is super yummy and with a salad perfect for 2 people. they also have yummy chicken and gumbo.

In California Adventure, there was a counter-service place between A Bug's Life and the Pacific Wharf (kindof in front of the wine trattoria, I guess). They had things like fish & chips, chicken strips, etc. It was me, hubby, and 7yo daughter. I got 2 entrees for the 3 of us - fish & chips, and the chicken strips. Got grapes instead of fries with one of the meals, so we had quite an assortment of finger foods to share...fish, chicken, grapes, and fries.

The tostadas at Rancho Z are huge and very yummy you can have them with grilled veggies or chicken.

To be honest I find almost all of the sit down places to be enough for two. BB charges I believe $4 for a split plate charge but they do give both people the wedge salad of their own.

A salad and a sandwhich at Tratoria is also perfect for two. And so yummy and inexpensive!

The fried chicken meals at the plaza or french market are both large meals. If you like drum sticks you can ask for an all drum stick meal and they give you a bunch of them, rather then a couple larger peices.

The BBQ combo plate at Riverbelle is huge and easy to share. So are the breakfasts there.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm making a list. I forgot about Plaza Inn Chicken. We did that last time and it was just perfect. The first time we went with my boys we got 4 plates and wow that was a lot of food!

Yeah, I second the splitting at the Plaza Inn. My husband and I are able to split the fried chicken there and all of the pasta dishes which are huge too. They also have a really big salad that can be shared. For treats we often split the GIANT cinnamon roll from the Blue ribbon bakery on Main Street (all other treats we are not willing to split! :goodvibes ). And yes the Rancho del Zocalo has enchiladas and burritos that can be easily split. Have fun!

The breakfast burrito at Whitewater Snacks is huge and tasty. Easily split..would make a nice large breakfast with a little extra fruit.
