Hello all--

Need suggestions on how to make online dining reservations especially for the hard to book ones like
Ohana, Be our guest etc. and be able to get an actual reservation for the restaurants we want. I havent tried to make reservations online yet, I have only made reservations by phone.
Thank you:tink:

I always done ours online. I have never really had any problems. I try to plan our harder to get ADRs for later in our trip so that I have a higher chance of getting them.

It was my first time making online reservations a few months ago. I would have been clueless without the help of my fellow DIS friends.

Make your reservation in order of how hard the reservation is to get. For example, I booked BOG first even though it's the second day of our trip.
Next was HDDR because I wanted category one seating.
Have all of the restaurants, dates and times written down. Be prepared to make small changes in reservation times in case it's necessary. (Had to change a few of mine by 15 minutes.)
One of the things that helped since I made the reservations out of order was having the dates written down as Monday, June 19th, for example. Not just the date, but the date and the day of the week. Open at least one extra browser with the site ready to go in case you run into problems with the browser you're working in. If you can swing it, make sure you start right when they open at 6:00. Good luck! Please let us know how it went.

I make all of our ADRs online. Like the pp said - make the hardest to get ADRs first and then so on. If I can't get an ADR - then I just keep trying and eventually I get them. For BOG and Ohana - I try when I get closer to my trip and usually get them. I try online often - it is easier than calling constantly. Try to make them online - it is easy.

We typically book our reservations closer than 180 days out. So, I am a bit crazy and sometimes end up checking the MDE app every day. I have also had a lot of luck with touringplans reservation finder. I was able to snag a BOG dinner and an Ohana dinner using it the.

If we don't get the ADR's we want at 180 days out (usually just two or three) I go on every single day after that and just wait for one to pop up, it usually does, sometimes it's only the day before as people finalise their plans and cancel their ADR's. We've always been lucky in the past so fingers crossed for this year as we didn't get 1900 Park Fare this time at 180 days out.
