We will be there Nov.20-26 and I am fairly certain our FP window opens on Sept. 10th. A few questions:

1. Is it like ADRs where I can get online on the day of at 6:00 am? Or is it midnight?
2. Can I make FP for all the days I am there or is it one day at a time beginning on sept 10th for nov 20, sept 11 for nov. 21, etc.?
3. If I CAN do for all of my days at once, what do you recommend in terms of timing? Should I aim to just do the hardest t get first like FOP, TSM, etc.?

Thanks!

1. The window opens at 7am EST
2. If you're staying onsite, you can make them for every day you'll be staying.
3. Yes, do your hardest first, regardless if they're at the beginning or end of your trip.

You may find the FP FAQ helpful (links below in my signature). The first 10 posts are littered with answers to questions like yours.

1. 7amEST
2. If you are staying on property, or at one of the included hotels, then you can book your whole trip on Day 1. If you are not included, then you'll need to do one day at a time.
3. Start with the hardest first, and it's recommended to plan on DHS and AK towards the end of your trip. If you're doing one day at a time (staying off property) then I'd probably try SDD and FoP first every day, before switching to a different attraction. SDD, in particular, has very limited availability, even for on property guests, but you could get lucky.

Your window is 60 days - so it is not until Fri Sep 21 2018. 7 am.

You can make FPs for all the days of your stay at that time (if you are staying onsite).

First thing is to map out your park days -- which days you will be going to which parks. Special events, ADRs and things may determine which days you want to go to which parks.

If you are really concerned about the "hard to get" Fast Passes (aka the rides with usually long waits) .. then pick the Fast Passes for those parks first.
(Say Nov. 24 you are planning on going to AK. Do that day FIRST . .right at 7AM to try and find Fast Passes for FoP .. then work your way backwards from there.).

So which rides are REALLY important to you to skip the line on?
Most here would probably suggest (in order):
Flight of Passage
Slinky Dog Dash
Seven Dwarves Mine Train
Soarin'

So .. you could consider booking the Fast Passes in this order: AK, then DHS, then MK, then Epcot.

My other FP strategy is to make all your fast passes for the morning .. 9AM - 1:00 PM .. that way you have the rest of the day to be flexible (go grab a nap, hop to another park, etc.) and also grab more fast passes if available. (Once you use your first 3 .. you are free to look at the app and see if any others for that day are available).

I am a park veteran, but I still found Mesaboy2's FP+ FAQ posts helpful. I use to plan my days ahead of FP time and then work the FP's we wanted into the schedule, however that doesn't really work any more. Now, IMO, you have to schedule your days around the toughest FP's. For instance we got 7DMT at 60+1 so we go to MK, we got FOP at 60+3 so off to AK and we got SD2 at 60+4 so that is our HS day. We do get park hoppers, so it give us some flexibility. We usually do one park in the AM, take a pool break and then do another park at night, that way we get to see each park during the day and at night.

What is the reasoning behind planning AK and HS for the end of my trip? I was hoping to do MK our last day as it looks like it will be WAY less crowded than earlier that week. We are staying on property so will schedule all FP at once.

Because fewer people will be having the opportunity to book Slinky Dog and FOP. If you are doing a 7 day trip and someone else is booking a 4 day trip and you are both arriving on the same day, you will be able to book days 5, 6 and 7 where both of you will be booking days 1-4. Thus there will be greater availability on your days 5, 6 and 7 and a greater liklihood of getting the hard to book rides.

You probably know this but you can book FP's for # of days on your ticket that is listed on My Disney Experience..( up to 14 days.)

Have a great time.
