Anyone have suggestions on something to hold magic band on wrist? My niece lost hers recently even though it looked like it was
on securely. Should i just ziptie? lol

Was it too big or did it unhook? If it's too big, there is a piece that can be removed to make it smaller. If it unhooked, there are little sliders that we've used to cover the end of the band that might get caught on something and pull it apart.

There are a number of products, available via Amazon and Etsy, that slip onto the ends of the MB to secure it. Just type Disney Magic Band into the search! I’ve also read of using a small ponytail elastic to accomplish the same thing.

My husband has had his fall off his wrist numerous times. Since getting a slider he hasn't had that happen. They work.

I take one of my daughter's hairbands, loop it over 3-4 times, then roll it up on the long end of the mb. I put the MB on, then roll the hairband over the connection where the two ends come together (like a slider). Works like a charm.

The sliders / Bit Belts did not work for my daughter. And she’s 20, not a little kid.

She lost her Dumbo Magic Band (got it back at Lost and Found in Disney Springs). We got it back with the little slide band still attached. The cast member who gave it to her actually said it was funny the slide was still on it.

After that she used a hair tie she happened to have to secure it. It was a slightly sheer, seamless, stretchy one (kind of like the material pantyhose are made of) and she just unrolled it flat and wore it over the band. It was about the same width of the band when rolled flat.

She was able to scan for everything with the whole band covered with it.

For my daughter, who is quite petite, we've used ponytail holders to help hold it in place. One other time my husband had a velcro zip tie and actually did use that...I worked great and because it was velcro didn't need to be cut off at the end of every night.

We use sliders and my brother who is 32 still lost his. I think these Mb+ are a joke and a money grab. Come on Disney, they must know that they fall off easily; yet the don’t change the design, keep raising the price and people keep buying them.

I use a few small elastics. My kids have a ton from their 'Rainbow Loom' kits. I've lost a MB before that never showed up in lost and found. The elastics save me multiple times a trip now. I'd like to get a slider at some point though.

We've used the sliders without any issues. I don't let me kids (9&11)wear them unless we're in parks. When we're at the resort I just wear mine

I'm in the hair tie camp. I loop it around and pull it tight. I like the idea of the sliders, but never got around to purchasing one.

We keep a bag of Bit Belts in our Disney box. We haven't lost a magic band since we've started using them. My daughter even uses one on her Fit Bit.
