I would really love some input/suggestions for our last ADR we have 7 TS credits before we go on our cruise and are staying at AKL. so far we have decided on the following :

2xTS California Grill
1xTS Boma (as we are staying there and is a favourite)
1xTS be our guest - DDs choice
1xTS Nine Dragons - DHs choice
1xTS Coral Reef - DSs choice

So just my choice.... We have a car so can do resorts but I want to try something new or different

We are 2 adults and 2 teens 16 & 14 so character experiences are not key...

... Any ideas?

We really enjoyed Teppan Edo, Tutto Italia and the Grand Floridian Cafe at the GF resort and Kat Kouzzina at the Boardwalk

Have you tried Sanaa at Kidani Village? Gets good reviews, we have eaten there and enjoyed it. It would save you driving on your last night (Take the shuttle bus across) it picks you up from the front of AKL and drops you at the front of AKV. Check out the menu:

It really depends what you have tried already. Last trip we tried La Hacienda de San Angel in Epcot for the first time. The food was good. We had a 7.30pm reservation. We had to wait a bit for our table. The fireworks coincided with our desserts and it was a great experience.I always like to try new places although I did go back to Boma. Once you have narrowed down your choices let us know and I might be able to offer some thoughts.

It is so hard as we have eaten at most places - of our list above only Nine Dragons is new !

I was trying to avoid another Epcot meal and if we go to DTD we would use a counter at Wolfgang puck.

We did Saana a couple of years ago - loved it, I fancied something in studios but the choices there are really poor, unless I did a fantasmic package with mama Melrose? We did not do the show last year. I see someone else has recommended it.

Sanaa is great (and you're already on location)

at DHS, I would do Sci-fi dine in. Of course you're not seated like at other restaurants, you'd be two in front, two in the backseat (hoping you get front seat in a Limo) but that's a lot of fun and their milshakes for dessert are to die for (ask for them as it's a substitution)
That would not be a "family" meal, but I bet your teens would love the drive-in feel and the movies on the big screen while you eat.

At DTD my vote would go to Bongo's Cuban Café. Huge value for money if you go for the lobster and seafood (a $40 entrée for one TS credit) or the Cuban tour (so much meat you'll struggle to finish your plate at $30 or 1TS)
restaurant might be a bit busy and service might be veeeeeeeeeery slow.

But overall, as far as my family is concerned, a vacation without stuffing ourselves off skewers from Ohana's for dinner is just not a vacation. :)

we also really enjoyed our mama melrose with fantasmic package

but i doubt i could do a return trip and not visit ohana that was really amazing , i found watching the parade and fireworks in mk stressful so was lovely to sit on the beach after

Thanks for all the replies.

Scifi We have done last two years (I just don't like it personally but the rest of the family does)
Saana - As we are eating at Boma on another night wanted to do away from the resort
Ohana - We love this but did it last year so looking for something different
Wave - we did this last year as Cali Grill was shut - their lamb was AMAZING

I understand with Mama Melrose that you get an appetiser too on the fantastic package so it looks like that will be our choice - and we know we will eat well on the cruise!!

As this will be our 7th trip it is harder to try to go to all your favourites and try new restaurants too!
