Since I have rented a car, I plan on doing some dining outside Disney, particularly on I-Drive. Any suggestions? Thanks

Definately check out Bahama Breeze. Everyone at work loves this place and whenever one of us goes to the world we torture each other saying what we'll eat at Bahama Breeze. They have a website. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

:charac2: :charac2: May I suggest....

I used to only stay at hotels on Interntl. Drive, so i'm familiar w/ area.
This year will be 1st trip offsite, but only 1 mile to wdw.!!

Anyway, this is where u can go:

1. Just like that prev. post, try Bahama Breeze - never went, but they are part of the olive garden and red lobster chain...

2. Wild Jack's BBQ on Intl. Drive (DEE-lishous)

3. The Crab House @ The Mercado Shopping Center (not a boring, typical shopg. center, it's filled w/ entertainment, The (MUST SEE) Titanic Exhibit (w/ real artifacts!) lots of cool shopping - it's huge and the way it's designed is in a stone like an italian villa type of feeling..

IF IT DOESN'T WORK, GO TO: WWW.ORLANDOINFO.COM (click on dining-under what to do, then click on "international drive area"

Another vote for Bahama Breeze. The atmosphere is fun and the food is great. Try their Jerk Chicken Pasta - my favorite!

If you are in the mood for burgers, try Jungle Jims. It is located closer to WDW in the Crossroads Shopping Center. (Right outside of Hotel Plaza Blvd.) They must have about 30 different types of burgers, and then you can choose beef, chicken, or veggie burger.

Yes, go to Bahama Breeze...it is excellent..but, you don't have to go all the way down to IDrive to eat there. There is one..just outside of disney. Take a right out of the market place area, and it will be a short ways down on your left..near the marriot resorts...I think three of them clumped together.

On I Drive, we love Don Pablos and Ming Court.

I love Bahama Breeze, as well. On the other side of I-Drive is the Samba Room, one of my favorite non-Disney restaurants.

Don Pablo's has become INCREDIBLY greasy lately :crazy2:

If you decide to try Bahama Breeze, be sure to split a piece of the Key Lime pie. The stuff is amazing.

Cafe Tu Tu Tango gets my vote. It is a tapas restaurant with a funky atmosphere. check it out....www.cafetututango.com

Bahama Breeze is great too. We have one in Tampa, so that is why I didn't pick them first.

Another vote for Cafe Tu tu Tango. Everyone I have told about loves it. Try the Cajin Chicken Egg rolls, Yum oh and the Duck Salad, WOW I could go on & on. I think this is what Disney wanted Spoodles to be. They missed the mark.

If you like lobster, definitely try the Boston Lobster Feast.

Sweet Tomatoes, corner of I-Drive and Kirkman, north of Wet and Wild.

If you are traveling with your family, there is a Sizzler on I-drive and it has a huge and delicious salad bar/buffet.

Also here is a link for I-drive and it has every restaurant on it, plus they will mail you a map and stuff. The first one takes you to a page of coupons you can print.

We always hit I-Drive for a change as well.

I suggest trying places that you can't find everywhere. Bahama Breeze is a Darden venue and can be found in many other cities. They're not bad for a chain but nothing extraordinary IMO.

Cafe TuTu Tango is good and fun and something you won't find everywhere. You can even get a free (tips are appreciated) psychic reading while you are there. Their red sangria is yummy.

Bahama Breeze is our favorite off site restaurant.

We also had a great lunch at Sweet Tomatos and the price is so cheap. Everything was very fresh and clean.

The food at bahama breeze is great!! We also like Bill Wongs Chinese at the top of I drive! Only $15 eat all you want and they have a great selection!

We're dying to try Cafe Tu Tu Tango, its on our list for our upcoming trip.

OUr favorites include Kobe, Carrabas, and The Melting Pot.
