How do you all carry around your room key/pass? Lanyard around your neck? Special wallet? What about the kids' cards - do you carry them or do you let the kids?

Actually - I don't even know how big the keys/cards are. Can someone fill me in?

The keys/cards are the size of a credit card. I just carry mine and the kids and my Disney rewards card in my pockets. If you lose the card, you can easily get it replaced, but (in over a dozen trips) I have never lost one by having it slip out of my pocket (which is not to say that I haven't lost one by leaving it in a fastpass machine, but that is a different issue).

I unfortunately lost my wallet out of my back pocket on Rocking Roller Coaster, so I would suggest something safer than that. (As an aside, Disney lost and found is awesome- they found it the next morning after I left and had it mailed back home by the time I was back) This next trip I plan to bring one of the small nylon string bags to put stuff in and put it under my feet on rides like RRC. Plus I am splitting up different copies of my credit card to different holders/people just in case.

I always carry mine and DS13 card and my DH carries his. I try to wear capris, shorts or pants (cargo) that have snap or button pockets on them. Preferably the ones with pockets on the legs. This way it is easy access and we don't have to wait in the security line. If I need to carry a little bit more, I use a swing bag.

I was using a pocket in my cargo shorts, but last trip went to a lanyard. It was so much easier for me to have that lanyard! The little plastic card case isn't the roomiest, but it was perfect for two KTTW cards and some cash. :)

DH uses the hard plastic waterproof case on the lanyard. He keeps his KTTW, all of the AP's, the TiW card, a CC for emergencies and some cash in it. Then he puts the lanyard strap thru a belt loop, loops the case thru and puts the case in his pocket. That way even if the case falls out of his pocket (or someone tries to pick his pocket), it's still attached to him. He can also keep it with him on water rides & the pool without a problem.

I put my KTTW in my fanny pack :thumbsup2

We don't do DDP, so we don't have to have all of our cards all of the time. My daughter doesn't have charging privileges, so she is allowed to carry hers around the resort (she must always have a purse :rotfl: ), and she leaves it in the car while we are not at the resort.

I keep it with my park tickets (we keep all of those together), as well as a note of which section our car is parked in, plus a few dollars in cash, in a plastic card carrier that also has my car keys attached to it. I leave the credit cards in the room safe, since take so long to replace if lost.

I put all of this in my courier-style bag that I take with me to the parks, etc. -- this is at my feet on all of the rides. I decided not to go with the lanyard because it just seemed as if it would get in the way on some rides, plus I thought it would be easier than my bag to lose if I took it off.
