Hi all! Hoping that you can help me decide on which character breakfast to book while we are at Disneyland Resort. We will be coming off of the Magic from the repo cruise and heading to DLR for three days and nights. We have no kids in our party, just 3 couples traveling together that are really just a bunch of big kids :teeth: !

One of the couples will be going to DLR for the first time and we want to show them a great experience, but DH and I never have taken time for character meals before. Now I would like some recommendations for a good breakfast, as we do want good character interaction, but I would also prefer decent food choices. Is that too much to ask? What do you suggest?

Thanks for everyone's ideas!!

Best food choices I have found were at Storyteller's breakfast with Chip & Dale. I likethe ambience in there for adults as well. It's a bit more low-key and not loud like Goofy's.

The Lilo and Stitch breakfast at PCH Grill is really fun. There is quite a bit of character interaction there and great food choices.

We really really enjoyed PCH Grill with Lilo and Stitch!! The food was great and so was the atmosphere!! I highly recommend it! :goodvibes

I agree with both of these. They are more low key and have great interaction. I would avoid Goofy's, though. So loud in there! :headache:

Ambiance is very adult like.
Stiff. More classy, less sassy! If you are truely "big kids" as in goof balls, this might be a little uptight. Just a tad, nothing extreme. Good food.

This one is fun! It's fun, silly, very casual. Hawaiian type theme. Good food. There will be kids atthis one, running aorund with characters. At ST, the kids stay in their seats.

I am not a fan of Goofy's.

HAVE FUN!

When my husband and I went alone last year, we really liked Storyteller's at the GC. The Plaza Inn was cute but the food was under par and there were more kids.

I just have to put in my "two cents"...Storytellers all the way. We love it! But if you are looking for the regular characters like Pluto, Goofy, etc they will not be there but Chip and Dale will.

We are doing Storytellers during our stay next month... who do you typically see there?

I like the Storytellers breakfast best. The food is great and I have had the characters push me over so they can sit with me at the table. They usually come over a couple of times per meal. Chip and Dale and Brother Bear are there. Also Miko from Pocahontas is there. I'm pretty sure there are a few more. Mostly character's you might find in a forest. I love getting a mimosa with my brunch. The good thing is you can order the buffet OR order off the menu. And if you get the buffet they will make pancakes and waffles to order. YUM!

Thank you all for the great input! Seems like Storytellers and PCH Grill are the two top choices so far. Those were actually the two I had been secretly leaning toward anyway, but wanted to check with the experts here on the DIS.

Tough choice, but I think I'm going more toward Storytellers right now...I like being able to order off of a menu or do the buffet. I'm not a big breakfast eater and the buffet price is usually wasted on me.

Anyone know if you can order off the menu at PCH for the Aloha one?

Characters I've seen at Storyteller's:

Chip, Dale, Kenai, Koda, Baloo, Brer Bear, Meeko, Timon, Pinocchio (well, he is made of wood!)

Oh that sounds fantastic!! Thank you, I believe we have a winner!! I'm booking PS at Storyteller's. Those are some hard-to-find characters and will be perfect for us as we will have seen Mickey, Goofy, Donald and others on the ship for the Character meal there.

Thanks for all of the advice, and keep it coming for others as well!

Dont be shocked if they dont all show... we certainly DID NOT see all of those.
