suggestions for Disney books?

I am heading to Jamaica in a few weeks and decided that among the books that I am bringing with me that there needs to be some Disney in there!!! I am not looking for planning type books (I am the one people come to when they need their trips planned) Rather, I am looking for some of the "behind the magic" type of reading. Any suggestions??? ok, ok...I am bringing the 2010 Unofficial Guide just for fun too

If you'd like to know more about the man, I've read

Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination
and
Walt Disney: An American Original


Both great books, IMHO.

The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney world looks like a good one. Gonna pick it up for myself today actually.

I just read Mousejunkies. It was really funny, I could see myself in the entire book and had to chuckle. Alot of the info I already knew, but just the way it is presented and the stories of how he became a mousejunkie it very funny. I finished it in 3 days.

Another one my DD likes is The Lost Journals. It has a lot of interesting facts and background stories on attractions.

For a class I took about a year ago, the teacher told us to pick a bureaucracy, and write a paper on it. Being the Disney obsessed person that I am, I took that paper as an opportunity to research the bureaucracy of Disney.

I didn't complete many of the books I got (I was a college student, so my reading time was usually already called for) but my favorites were:

Thomas, Bob. Building a Company: Roy O. Disney and the Creation of an Entertainment Empire. Hyperion: New York. 1998.

I found the relationship between Roy & Walt to be very interesting.

Schickel, Richard. The Disney Version: The Life, Times, Art, and Commerce of Disney. Elephant Paperbacks: Chicago, 1997.
