suggestions for digital picture frame?

I just posted this questions over on the budget board, and someone suggested I post over here to get the "experts" advice So...I'm hoping to get a digital picture frame for my Dad for Christmas. I am hoping to do some research and be able to shop around for the best deal. I know NOTHING about them, which ones are decent, which ones to avoid, which ones are easiest to use....and I haven't found any websites that have been particularly helpful. I'd love to hear any suggestions that people may have!! TIA!!

My father recently celebrated his 83rd birthday and had a second Bar Mitzvah. I bought a Westinghouse 8" frame, and loaded it with lots of photos and put it on display during his party. I had scanned in old photos -- of his parents, my parents' wedding, my sisters and me as children, and of course my dad's Bar Mitzvah photo (which came out great considering the original was 70 years old!). He loved it! I liked the frame so much I bought one for myself. The image quality is excellent - much better than the 7" frame. The only thing I don't like is how you get to the menu ... it's just not intuitive. Some frames include an mp3 player, and others include a remote control. You pay extra for these features, of course, so you have to decide how important they are to you. I went to a couple of local stores (Best Buy, Circuit City etc.) and brought my own photos on a compact flash card so I could see how they looked on various frames ... that was very helpful to me in choosing a frame.

My suggestion is to wait until Black Friday. They were a pretty new item last holiday season, but have become more popular this year. I'd be willing to bet money there will be an early bird sale on them at more than one store.
