We did it! We are booked to be in WDW for DH's B-day. Now I am looking for somewhere special to eat, but I need to consider other people.
It will be the 4 of us (DH, me, DD11, DS4-at the time), FIL, MIL, and DNiece10. A few years ago DD and I ate at the Royal Table for my B-day, but DS got sick, so DH took him back to the hotel so DD and I went by ourselves. DH has talked about going there, but I have a few concerns. Does anyone know if DD and DNiece can order off the kid menu? I know that there isn't anything on the adult menu there they will eat. Our DD would suck it up for the sake of Dad, but DNiece would throw a fit and MIL would 'cave' and the evening would be ruined. (It is a really long and sorted tale, but DNiece is like MIL's own child, so the rest of us just sit back and watch.
Actually DNiece wasn't even invited, but MIL asked DD if she could bring her, and DD isn't going to tell her no outright, but did try to tell her that she didn't want DCousin acting up like last time, and MIL turned it around to why doesn't DD like DCousin, so for the sake of harmony we caved.
At least we have a few days solo, before they arrive
). Anyhow, back to DH...
Any other suggestions on where we could eat that would be special for DH, but not have us accused of trying to give DNiece food posioning? We are going in October if that makes any difference. I also figure we can do the Royal table on our own before FIL, MIL, & DNiece show up. I want something nice for DH, I think this B-day is bothering him a little. TIA for the suggestions!
