My family (6 yr old son, 4 yr old daughter) will be in Orlando from 23rd to 30th. I am looking for suggestions from members to cover WDW attractions. I realize the Christmas parade will be done. I have a 7 day pass, park hopper, with no expiration, so I can be in and out. I plan to use 2-3 days at WDW on this trip. I will be staying close to the park on Intl. Drive and will be driving my own car. I have not made reservations for any of the character dinners/b'fasts as this was a last minute decision.

I intend to do MK and one other park (excluding Animal Kingdom) this time. There is so much info. and I am so confused. Any ideas from recent visitors, seasoned/veteran Disneyer's on topics such as parking, food, sequence of seeing sights/catching rides at MK, best times to go, crowds/lines during this week and any info will be of great help.

Thanks - First Time at DIS.

I am in Disney now and let me tell you it is really really really crowded and the holiday crowds have not even shown up yet. Get to the parks really early before opening!

My guess is that you will not get any dinner reservations at this late date.
As posted you will need to be in the parks at opening if you hope to do some of the major rides.

Forget about seeing and doing all the rides and shows , it will NOT happen at this time of the year, take it from and 8 soon to be 9 year Christmas veteran. Since you will not be on site avoid the park with EMH's and avoid MK on Christmas day.
There will be plenty of shows and other things to do and see. Slow down and enjoy the holiday season.

The Christmas parade runs twice daily at MK starting this Saturday through the end of the year. I think 12:30 and 3:30. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we catch it this Saturday and that the rain stays away...it's my favorite parade to watch.

Thank you, AStamm. I was confused with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas PARTY that ends on Dec 22nd. As dvc_guy suggested, I will avoid MK on the 25th. We'll go there maybe, 26th/27th.
