I am sure that this has been asked before, but I could not find anything. My family will be at WDW in June. I need suggestions on character breakfasts and dinners. We are hoping to do both. I would love to have breakfast at the castle, but I hear that it is hard to book. What about Cape May? Also what about dinners, I have no idea which one has the most characters and decent food. Help with any suggestions!

Hungry with no idea where to go munch! pirate: pirate: princess: :teacher: :disrocks: :thewave:

We LOVED Chef Mickey's for breakfast. There was individual time with each of the characters. We did have a fairly early seating (7:30 am). Weren't so impressed with Crystal Palace for breakfast. Almost NO time with the characters. We had to go chase Pooh down before we left because he hadn't made any appearance in our 1/2 of the restaurant in the whole hour + that we were there.

We absolutely love Cape May. It's great for breakfast...we always had alot of character attention there. We liked Garden Grill but it's closed for refurb. right now....

my 9yo son HAS to meet Pluto... anyone have suggestions on a breakfast where he'll be guarenteed to be present?

In order of preference

For characters (non-people)

1. Liberty Tavern dinner
2. Chef Mickey's dinner or breakfast
3. Donald's Breakfastsaurus (Pluto was here both times we went)

For people...
1. Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast
2. Princess Storybook Breakfast
3. Hear good things about Park Faire (Mary Poppins and crew) but have not done this one...but it's on my next trip!

On our last trip we did Cape May for breakfast, it was great! Lots of character time. Crystal Palace for breakfast also, the food was ok and not as much character time but did see all characters. Park Fare however I wasn't crazy about the food, characters were ok but took a long time for Cinderella to come around. I think it depends on if you happen to come when one is taking a break and the rude people that keep walking up to the characters to meet them. If you are worried you'll miss one because you have to leave, just tell your server; they will get that particular you missed to come over to your table. Our trip 2 years ago we did Chef Mickeys for dinner and although the food was ok we had lots of character interaction. If you have a princess lover then try the castle breakfast, it was my least favorite for breakfast but my most favorite memory! You can go to deb's site www.allearsnet.com and look up character dining, she has a guide there telling which character appear where but not always guaranteed. Have a great time what ever you choose!

You will probably get alot of input over on the restaurant board. :)

Chef Mickey's for sure, you have alot of time with the characters breakfast or dinner. Also Cape May is great too.

We are doing Goofy's Beach Club Breakfast for my DD's 16th birthday!!! The CM was VERY helpful/imformative when I booked this; she said they ring a bell by the buffet and the characters/CM's do a birthday song for the birthday child. DD is going to be SO embarrassed!!! I can't wait!!

We are also going to try Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK! Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Pluto (probably in Safari Gear)

I am also sneaking in (surprise DH  ) the Princess Character Breakfast in EPCOT/Norway!! My DD10 LOVES Mulan and DD14 LOVES Sleeping Beauty!! I hope they are there!! I haven't seen either of those princesses in the castle!! :confused3

These are the ones we've tried and LOVE:

As far as princesses, princess: GET THE CASTLE!!! I got it today, start your call at 6:59, you may be pleasantly surprised!! Cinderella, Fairy Godmother (lobby), Snow White, Jasmine, Belle and Prince Charming.

Dinner at Chef Mickey's (doing it again!) Chef Mickey, Chef Goofy, Chip Dale, Pluto (we've also seen Donald Duck there).

Liberty Tree Tavern is GREAT (dinner w/characters), Pluto, Minnie, Chip Dale and Meeko.(Minnie, Chip and Dale have Colonial attire on!)

Crystal Palace with Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet. Beautiful restaurant. Tried all three meals there at one time or another, LOVED them all!!

DH and I tried 1900 Park Fare for breakfast last May, we LOVED it. Mary Poppins, Bert, Eeyore, Pooh, Mad Hatter and Alice.

We do LOTS of character meals so there's more one on one time and we don't have to wait in so many lines to see them in the parks!! ;)
