Our 8th anniversary happens to be during our Vacation. DS, age 5, will be with us, and I don't want to leave him at one of the kid clubs. So, naturally, the restaurants on the upper end of the spectrum are out.

Our sit-down dining has been pretty limited. We have been to Ohanas twice, and a couple others here and there. DS really enojyed Ohanas, and DH and I love it. So, that is definately an option, but we would like to try something new.

Generally, we prefer to have dinner in the mid-afternoon, so that we can enjoy the parks in the evening when it cools down a bit.

Any suggestions?

How about Cindy's royal Table for a early dinner. Some other idea's would be Spoodle's on the boardwalk, Mama Melrose or Prime time in MGM. All child friendly. Have a great anniversary!

Although lacking the "elegance" of some of the high end WDW restaurants, Spoodles rivals them in food! IMHO it is a hidden gem, terrific food and service, moderate prices, and a great location. It would be an excellent choice!

Another idea would be the GF Cafe, which although quite casual has a certain elegance about it, and is very kid friendly. If you order in advance you can get teh Cinderella's Slipper Plates for dessert--yummy!!

Another place that aeems to be a great one for celebrations is the Hoop De Doo Review.

Congrats and enjoy!

I too must second the vote thingy for Spoodles...mmmmmmm...yummm...*drools*......but if thas out of the question why not try Rainforest Cafe? It's fun, I can tell you that...:p !!! Man all this food is making me hungry...

Hope it helps!

We enjoyed an early dinner on our anniversary at the castle. While we did not have any children with us, there were plenty there that seemed to be enjoying themselves. The food was very good, the atmosphere was great and we got a couple of special suprises we were not expecting and are only available if you dine at the castle on your honeymoon or anniversary.

We loved it.
