Suggestions for AKV-which view?

I was all set to pull the trigger on a savannah view studio when I started to think about it. This trip is for my wife and I to celebrate our 10th anniversary in May. We took our 3 kids in Dec 2007 and we were rarely in the room with the oldest just a month short of her 5th birthday, let alone going as 2 adults.

If the going rate for points is around $12/point, is it really worth $400 to upgrade from the value to the savannah? I did see where the room size is just a bit smaller, but as a couple, we're not really requiring the extra space. I just feel like we'd be paying ~$400 for a view we won't be there to see anyway. Your thoughts???

One last question, do they all have a balcony, regardless of view?

The value rooms are not "just a bit" smaller, they are significantly smaller. Nevertheless with only two people, you are fine and could get lucky and get savanna view. Personal view: I own there and would not stay there without savanna view, but others are fine without it.

We just got back from a stay in a value studio (standard view) here is the vew from our balcony

At the top of the photo in the treed area we saw antelope and Eland. Not the giraffes or zebras though. Personally I found the cheaper points such a great deal it would be hard to pull the trigger on Savanna view. Also once the sliding door was closed you didn't hear a peep from the pool area.
