Suggestions For A Pen That Will Write On A Backpack Without Bleeding Into The Fabric

I want to have the princesses sign my daughter's backpack on our trip in 2 weeks. Without trying a bunch of different pens and ruining the backpack, does anyone have a suggestion for a colorfast pen that won't bleed into the surrounding fibers as they sign?

Just to elaborate... I know I need some sort of fabric marker but I didn't know if certain types/brnads were better than others.

I think I may do this with pillow cases.

We used Marvy Markers for signatures on a pillowcase. It bled minimally.

Try a Sharpie. We used one in August. The characters autographed my daughter's baseball cap and it didn't bleed at all.

I used sharpies on a pillowcase - they didnt bleed too bad - but they dont stand up to the many washings. A back pack might not be so bad because you dont have to wash it that often
