Hi all,

My husband and I have taken our two boys to WDW on many occasions, and enjoyed every minute of it. However, being surrounded by 3 males always meant that I never got to do and/or see anything considered "girly". For example, I haven't had afternoon tea at the GF, or even taken in any of the shows (exception being Fantasmic).

So, next January we are all headed down again, but this time one of my sons is bringing his girlfriend, and my adult niece may come too. While we'll obviously spend a lot of time with the guys, we girls want to plan on some girly stuff too!! As this is an area I have totally ignored up to now, I don't even know where to start ! Or rather, I'm more afraid of missing something obvious because I've never paid attention to it before!

Sooooooo..... any suggestions on what 3 girls MUST see/do in WDW?!

As you're not bringing any small girls (children), there's not much I can think of that's specifically "girly". But there is one thing - what about the pick-a-pearl thing at Japan in Epcot. There's a GREAT thread on the Theme Parks Strategies forum. I'll warn you - it's huge. I read the first 2 or 3 pages, then jumped to the end.

I guess the only other girly thing I can come up with is shopping. Main St., all of Epcot, and Downtown Disney come to mind.

:cool1: MIL and I do girly stuff at least one day while DH is out taking his pics at AK. We have done the Yuletide Fantasy, Saratoga Spa (go early and enjoy the dipping pools--just take a taxi from your resort), the Grand Floridian Tea was wonderful, too. Keys to the Kingdom was a fun tour--although not "girly". I would also enjoy a shopping trip to World of Disney, start them a sterling charm baracelet and commemorate the trip by buying them their first charm. I just recommended this on another thread. I really enjoy taking the ferry ride at the Epcot International Gateway to the Boardwalk and DHS and then back again. I think that is girly and gives you all some "visit tiem". Then tour the hotels. It is terrific seeing the Swan and Dolphin up close. Ther pearl in Japan would be fun for them to do to remember the trip.

If it were me, I would make them get up early and stuff them into a Taxi for a massage and facial, then go to DTD and buy Jewelry

these sound great...had never thought of touring the other resorts but definitely something I'd love to do, with no guys in tow - what could be better :thumbsup2 And I will definitely check out the Pearls in Japan - another I had no idea about!

Last May we went with our DD and SIL and while the guys went golfing we went to the spa at SSR and then walked over to DTD and did some shopping and had lunch at Fulton's. Had a great time. There is also the tea at GF.

I'm doing a girls-only trip next year and I can't wait! We plan on maybe visiting the spa, doing some shopping, staying out late for karaoke one night, and just having fun on the rides. Also each picking out a favorite nice restaurant to go to.

Cirque De Soleil might be fun.

sorry, to me this isn't a girly thing. We saw this with my parents and 2 boys and we all loved it. My dad still raves about it and it's been almost 2 yrs.
You'll have fun but I think boys would love it too.

I'm going with girlfriends in September.... we toyed with the Spa, but decided we're doing the Grand Floridian Tea:goodvibes

Oh!! Meet Prince Caspian... he's really cute and after he flirts with all of you and calls you 'beautiful princesses' you can bond by giggling like schoolgirls....
:rotfl2: It was a highlight of my last 'boy-free' trip:thumbsup2
