I have my standard one for about 12 years..my kids r getting older and not much fits on my rack.

Do u have one u really like?

Where did u buy?

Thank you for posting this question. I was wondering, too, as I am hoping to convert to air drying instead of paying for my dryer to run. I am looking for some good ideas on this as well. Thanks again. Hopefully we get some really great ideas. I'm sure we will.

How about a clothes line? Or if you aren't allowed lines in your neighborhood, ours don't, my sister has one in her garage that pulls acrossed and hooks to the other side, like the ones in hotel bathrooms. I hang most of DD's shirts and I have a rod above the dryer, they dry really quick.

i made a small one in my laundry room, which i hang pants on..

i'm looking for a rack mostly for shirts - soccer shirts, socks etc.

i don't want to put a line on my deck...i saw one on qvc that got good reviews and expands.

I hang clothes on plastic hangers and use my shower curtain rod in the bathroom.

I'm looking for one, too. I bought one from either WalMart or Target, but it was cheapy and didn't last long. The ends were wood but the bars were made of cheapy stuff. I need to find one that is metal or something more sturdy like that.

I use an all-wood kind of accordion type that I got from Menards. It doesn't hold much, but it helps me a lot. We're not allowed to have clotheslines where I live. My Mom still hangs clothes out--I love the smell!

I have 2 of these I got from QVC. I use them several times a week all year round. I have had these for more than 2 years with no problems. They collapse down to being smaller than a foldable lightweight travel stroller. Fit right into tight spaces. I can take them outside and sit them on the patio or porch and dry clothes inside or out. They are waitlist only right now though. I am taking one to Disney with us to dry clothes.

I have had one similar to this since college (early 1990's), and I still use it now. My DH put up a clothes line for me last summer & I love it. I have it full right now. I still use the folding one for undies, so they are down low & not hanging out there for the whole world to see!

edited to add that I think mine may be a bit bigger & has brackets that go from the A frame section to the ends of the arm sections which allow space for more items to hang from. I posted this pic because it is the first one I found that is similar to mine

OK this one is very similar to mine:

They have a lot of nice ones. I am thinking about getting the wall mounted and putting it in the garage. The wind always knocks my wooden rack over and we aren't allowed lines.

I like the wall mount one as well. We can have lines outside so I was looking at the pole they sell to mount it on. I agree that they have a lot of nice ones. I would also like one in the house as well.

I have something similar to that, I got it at walmart for about $12

I use it to hang everything up that goes on hangers straight from the dryer in my laundry room, and also for things that need to dry that I don't put in the dryer. It usually stays in the same spot, but I like it because it is portable, and on the bottom I have a box of empty hangers to hang everything up on. I've had it for about a year and a half and its holding up well. It holds a lot of clothes too.

i really want a rack that i won't need to use hangers for - cloths will be going into draws..

Hi my girlfriend has 6kids and she does the air drying thing, I saw a real big one on wheels at IKEA and it was metal, they also had the smaller ones, I think it was around 20-30 dollars. If you dont have one of them around i beleive they do ship.. check them out.:goodvibes

I have the ones that Deserrt Starr has and I LOVE them they are sooo handy!!! Very durable I hang lots of stuff on them to dry, I just set on my deck and they dry fast.
