Suggestions for a beach

We are traveling with our 4 kids and would like to take a day to show them the ocean. What is a good beach to visit that isn't too far to drive? Thanks for your help.

Cocoa Beach is about a 45min-1 hour drive from Orlando. It is very easy to get there using the turnpike. If you drive right into Cocoa Beach and keep going until you hit the ocean there is a nice public beach. I think parking was about $6 per car and the beach was nice. They also have an outside shower to rinse off before you head back to Orlando. The Ron Jon surf shop is also right there.

There is a park at Cocoa Beach called "Jetty Park" that is supposed to be a nice area as well.
