We are throwing my DS a bowling party in a couple weeks at the local bowling alley and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions of what a good goddie bag gift would be.

We have been going back and forth on what to get for those attending and cannot think of anything bowling related. Any help would be much appreciated.:goodvibes

Let your child choose any character theme. Then do goody bags related to the theme.

We have done a few parties at bowling alleys and the theme was still the friend's favorite character/movie, etc.

Our goodie bags rarely match the venue unless the location provides the bags (not common). I go through a local dollar store to pick up items for the goodie bags. Our local bowling alley will also include free passes for future bowling for each participant so that also goes in the bags for bowling parties.

My dd had a bowling party for her 8th b-day in March.

I put in it a gift certificate to our local (in our town we live in) ice cream shop for a kiddie serving of ice cream & one topping.

And then I made a candy bar wrapper to put over a Hershey bar. I had her draw herself & each one of her friends & I scanned it in & each kid had a personalized wrapper made by my dd. On the back I used a bowling font & wrote thank you for celebrating my b-day or something like that.

She also wanted a pencil so we added that.

google bowling party supplies - I found cute little water games that were bowling - you know when you push the button you send rings thru the water to land on bolwing pins - they were really cheap. Found bowling pin candles too. Can't remember where I bought it from - sorry - but I found several things to choose from once I googled it - I think Oriental trading Co hand some stuff too.

When we had my son's 6th birthday party at the bowling alley it was with the glow in the dark stuff (forget the name since that was 10 1/2 years ago) so all the little gifts in the goodie bags were glow in the dark. The kids loved the items and it was a fun time.

I had 2 different bowling parties for 2 of my DS. Instead of a goody bag, I spent 3 dollars (or a little less) on little trophies with the kids name on it. ALL of the kids LOVED and thought it was great. Both my boys still have them. It is not that expensive and it is a "different" kind of goody bag,

Oh, what a great idea! DS also went to one once where the mom made all the kids T-shirts with a bowling iron-on and letters for their names.

I did a bowling party and put some bowling related items in the goody bags. I always look at www.celebrateexpress.com They usually have cute supplies. I think I got plates, cups, cookies with a bowling pin on them...

Then I bought an easy to read book about bowling, which I found on-line too. Then at Target, in the toy aisles, they usually have really cheap bins like $1 or $2. They had 2 bowling related toys, like small bowling pins and a ball.

Also I did a 'strike bag'. I bought a bunch of toys (again at Target) like Uno cards, nerf ball... The first time a kid got a strike they got to pick a toy out of the bag. If they didn't get a strike, I then went to a spare and so on until every kids got a prize.

have fun.

FOr my DS's 7th Bowling Party I made ehem all Tshirts. I bought them on sale at Michael's...boys had green & girls had purple. I bought the paper that you scan an image on & then ironed thm on. They were colorful bowling pins with their names under it. They came out GREAT!! I also had found at celebrate express marshmallow bowling pin lollipops!:thumbsup2
