Suggestions? Disney California then a cruise

Hi - We are planning a vacation from Montreal to Disney California around December 26th for a few days then onto a cruise for a few days. Anyone have suggestions on where to stay and what cruise to take with reasonable rates? We'll be around 9 people - all adults Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't cruise, so I have no idea of how soon holiday cruises sell out. You probably shouldn't delay booking any holiday travel any longer.

I tend to book my cruises with Carnival as they seem to be the most cost effective for us. Our next cruise/Disney combo is in November where we'll be in the park Fri-Sun afternoon and then board our ship later Sunday afternoon!
