This is my personal suggestion to someone with a reservation made with one of the "mystery" codes and not sure if you have PIN or not.
From my conversation on the phone with CM and what others have posted here, looks like they are going through the database identifying those reservations. It also looks like they may be doing it case-by-case, at least in this early stage of damage control.
If you call in soon, politely inform the CM of your situation, and ask to verify if you have a PIN attached to you account, you MAY be able to keep the reservation. Please see my other thread here for a summary of what happened -

Things to do before this that may help your cause:
1) Pay off the balance on your reservation. This shows that you are committed to the Disney trip. Also it puts cash into the Disney bank account immediately rather than 45 days out from the trip. This helps the company's top line.
2) If you have upgraded before now, this may also help your cause. This shows that you are going to experience a higher level of resort experience at Disney, which may tempt you into booking the same (or higher) resort levels at future dates. Though, I think if you try to upgrade now, it may be too late.
From what I can see, Disney is trying a compromised damage control. They want to show that granting these codes was indeed a mistake but Disney doesn't want to alienate the people who booked so early. These discounts are still within the realm of profit margin for Disney (it's not like getting rooms for free, as in previous episode). So, the compromise they may present to you may be that you either 1) pay off the balance of the reservation right away or 2) they will revert the reservation back to rack rate.
Please note this theoritical compromise is derived from my personal experience and is not an exact experience I had encountered. YMMV.
So, if you can, pay off your balance first before calling Disney's CRO. Be polite and friendly, and hopefully they will sprinkle some pixie dust your way.
Hope this helps someone. Good luck!
