DFI & I are heading to WDW for our honeymoon. Our last day we will only have time for breakfast, but I'd like to get a good meal in before we travel home. I currently have 1900 Park Fare booked, but I'm not sure that's the best place for breakfast.

We've been/or are going to the following:

Boma
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Kona Cafe
The Wave

We're staying at POR, but we'll go anywhere on property for our last meal! Any suggestions?

Personally, I think Kouzzina serves one of the better sit-down breakfasts on property. They also make very good Bloody Marys, if you're into that sort of thing (I know I am).

Grand Floridian Cafe also serves up some mighty fine morning fare.

Kouzzina and the Grand Floridian Café are my favorites as well. Kouzzina's stacked breakfast and a bloody Mary make for an excellent last-day meal. I should know -- it's how we ended our last two trips! You may also like Olivia's at Old Key West. They've all got some interesting breakfast items.

I definitely second the GFCafe! We had our honeymoon departure day breakfast there too :) The food was very, very good. Also the atmosphere is very pretty - bright and airy. It's really romantic on your honeymoon to go visit the GF and walk around the beautiful gardens outside and see the view of the castle from the beach.

I've never been there myself, but lots of people on this board love the breakfast offerings at Kona Cafe at the Poly. Just thought I'd mention it, too.

NOTE: This is a new location for a breakfast buffet. The
buffet has significantly increased its variety, and now is
very much worth the visit. At just under $20 per adult, it
is extremely reasonable for a WDW buffet. For breakfast, it
is probably the best-kept dining secret.
It has Mickey
waffles and delicious sweet potato pancakes. They use
local fresh fruit and vegetables. For those with a smaller
appetite, one can do the usual ala carte breakfast menu.

I would choose Cape May Cafe.

The food is great, you can walk around the YC/BC and Boardwalk area when your finished and there is something to be said by finishing your WDW honeymoon with the characters. It really puts a nice Disney end to your time there.

We always finish our vacations with one last character breakfast, even though about halfway through I get sad and teary eyed thinking about my vacation being over.

Kona is my favorite spot for breakfast in WDW. Olivia's is very good too.

We're ending out Disneymoon with Chef Mickey's. Never eaten there, but heard mix reviews. I think it's one of those places that you just have to try to form your own opinion.

My girlfriend likes it when we end a trip with CM's for breakfast. She finds it to be a fitting end to the trip.

I personally like the breakfast at 1900 PF. When it comes to the food, I really don't see much difference from one place to another. They all have eggs, potatos, sausage, bacon, waffles, etc. For the most part it is the same food except for maybe 1 or 2 unique dishes. It really comes down to if you want to see characters or not and if you do, what characters do you want to see? The Mad Hatter and Alice can be a lot of fun at 1900 PF.

If you don't want to do a character meal but still want a TS breakfast, as others have said, Kona, The Wave and GFC are all very good breakfast choices. Keep in mind, places at the EC resort area (Kouzzina and Cape May) can be a real pain to get to for breakfast if you are using Disney transportation. If you have a car or are willing to take a taxi, Cape May is another good option.

We finish EVERY trip to WDW with a breakfast at Kona. French press Kona coffee and tonga toast...mmmmmmmm.

If you have time in the morning, I would consider Boma for breakfast, as you could visit the animal viewing areas afterward, and explore the artwork in the lobby of AKL....:flower3:

Grand Floridian Cafe without question.

Kona Cafe is a close second.

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kona Cafe, they have the best press-pot REAL coffee. :lovestruc

And the food at both is pretty awesome for breakfast.

Spot on BriarRosie. These are the two places I booked breakfast for our next trip.

Wolfgang Puck Express is great also - has Boyd's coffee.

...whether for b'fast or dinner. We love the atmosphere and the characters. It can be crazy loud and the energy level can leave you needing a nap after...but it's fun and it's Disney. :dance3:

Have you considered Whispering Canyon? That's a hoot. The interaction with the wait staff is a riot, and the breakfast skillet is very good. We took my in-laws a few years back on the last morning, and it was a highlight of the trip.

A less intense character experience can be enjoyed at the Cape May Cafe.

Finally, a very good b'fast (minus any characters) can be had at the GF Cafe, as others have mentioned, and the food is very good.

Bon appetite! :)

I suggest Boma. :thumbsup2 Since you already have a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, this would be a nice alternative. You can explore the gorgeous AKL and eat one of the BEST breakfasts on property.

The tradition for our family is to end the vacation with breakfast @ CM's. You get to see Mickey & the gang one final time & go out with a bang. Food isn't superb but it's the last time with Mickey until next year.

I'll give a thumbs up for Kona cafe as well. Good coffee, and relatively minimal cast interaction (which is a huge bonus in my opinion - at least in the early morning, before I'm fully awake).

My pick personally would be Ohana, it is a character meal with Lilo, Stitch, Pluto and Mickey... it is a fun meal even if you don't have kids and it is also all you can eat and sit down which is a plus for me over buffets. Ohana for breakfast also has my favorite treat in all of WDW, their pineapple bread is TO DIE FOR!

If not Ohana then I would do Kona and get the Tonga Toast, and ask them to bring you some of that bread over from Ohana;)

Other suggestions that others have mentioned: Boma is a wonderful breakfast and Whispering Canyon has the all you can eat skillets.
