We will arrive to All Stars Music somewhere around 1pm-ish on 6/22. We plan to have a low key afternoon, perhaps by the pool, until our room is ready (if it isn't upon arrival).

We'd like to go to the Campfire at FW that evening, and are undecided about where to dine beforehand.

What do you suggest, outside of any of the parks? popcorn::

Thanks in advance!!!

Dh and I usually arrive around 5 or 6 in the evening. So we drop off our carry ons in our room and head to DTD. We always eat the first night at Capn Jacks. :)

Maybe you could get something to eat at Wilderness Lodge then take the boat to the F W Campground. Are you driving or taking Disney transportation, are you looking for a TS or CS meal?

We have almost the same plan for 6/26 and want to do the campfire as well, so we're headed to FW around 6:30 for dinner at Trail's End, then to the campfire and singalong. I've heard great things about the buffet at Trail's End so can't wait to try it. I love sweet tea and they have it there! :thumbsup2

Disney transportation. Will pay OOP for this meal so it really doesn't matter TS vs CS

Was thinking maybe Trail's End, too. Considered Whispering Canyon but the kids menu looks extremely limited :confused3

Well, if you are using Disney Transportation, it would be easy to take the bus to MK and then go to any of the monorail resorts or WL for dinner (then catch the boat to FW). What we like to do is visit other resorts. Like our arrival day we have a dinner scheduled at Kona Cafe at the Poly so we can go explore the resort and then have dinner before going to the MK. But you could do Chef Mickeys, O'Hana, 1900 Park Fare. We love starting the trip with a character meal.

I would do Trail's End also. Gets good reviews, and the bonus is you are right there for hte campfire!

Have a great time!

Trail's End offers lots of options and I think you might find that kids menus often are constraining so buffets give you a break from the mac and cheese routine. However, Whispering Canyon is a really fun spot and it's location makes it really easy to get to the campfire.
